Dumb.............He was too busy running 20 yards down the field to catch the ball.
The dude had bigger responsibilities than blocking. Thats why he was always smiling.

Huh? Are you spoiled with what we've had with blocking WRs at LSU over the past decade? There are plenty of NFL HOF WRs that couldn't block to save their lives. And considering that Reed was the best player on the field with the ball in his hands from 2000-2001, I don't think we missed much if that was the one flaw in his game.

no. He couldn't catch over the middle (taking the hard lb hit after 7 yard catches), beat people on fades in the end zone and couldn't block. YES. theose are all part of being a great receiver. My point is he is not in MY top 2 because of his inability to excel at all phases of the game.
DBowe isn't either for other reasons like dropping 1/2 of his passes before the eye correction in 2007.
That is why Eric Martin and Wendell Davis were better at their craft. Martin proved to be the best Pro for now. I can tell you, I spend 1/2 of my time in KC now, that peolpe here were ready to string Bowe up before the TD catches last season,. BUT he still drops a lot of passes for whatever reason.
