If LSU doesn't get smacked around in a super regional, they're easily getting destroyed in Omaha.

That may happen, but don't act like you weren't so sure of yourself a month ago on here in regards to LSU's lack of chances of winning the west.

The most senior-laden team I can ever recall at LSU has finally started playing like the national-seed from last year who only lost 1 player.

Yay our coach is so awesome.

What has blake dean done to make you sure he could even get close to matching PMs results?

Not a hater. Don't like him though and certain of the annual choke job that will be happening in the NCAA tourney. The man just hasn't coached well under NCAA tourney pressure in a long, long time.

Wait a minute...

Not like a dude, even for legitimate reasons, is still hating.

Here I is. Dude if we make it to a super regional, we will get smacked the frick up. I've seen every lsu natty in baseball and this team doesn't have near the talent those teams had. frick the size of the bats and the chages in the ball...our players just aren't the same caliber. Watch and see. I won't make a thread about it but we used to have players like diechmann, like 2 or three every roster at least. Deichmann is good, but who else do we have offensively? Manieri went small ball and we don't have the pitching to play that way. Dumbass.

This sense literally makes no sense... are you blaiming the talent or the equipment changes?

I'm blaming manieri for changing his recruiting to smaller faster guys. He did that bc of the changes in the game due to the bats, then they changed the ball to compensate. We have no power in our lineup and our hitting isn't good enough to have the pitching we have. It will come back to bite us in the arse. Mark my words. Bookmark it. I don't care bc it will happen. If you play small ball like we do, you have to have great defense and really good pitching. We are not deep enough to go against great hitting teams in a series. Watch.

I still dislike the man. He will cost us a championship down the road watch and see with his pitching staff.

What's LSUs Omaha record since after 2009?

Exactly. Small ball teams have great/deep pitching staff that can shut people down. WE DON'T HAVE THAT. Our staff is good one game and bad another...look at the midweek games that's a great barometer of pitching depth, we just aren't deep enough. If we get into a losers bracket we are fuuuucked. We need to score runs. Like I said, I'm a diehard LSU fan but I know what I'm looking at.

I'm one.

I still think he has managed the bullpen horribly this season and has made questionable calls on who to put in at DH in critical times, among other things.
