Kentucky Can crush, but all we ever hear is how they've taken the thunder out of the bats. They're right Paul Mainieri has taken the Gorilla out of the bats with 170lb. Power Hitters

Op probably wasn't born when LSU basebal was LSU baseball. These dumb fricks nowadays have no clue. Yiu have to hit to score runs...period, end of story. We don't hit good enough and we don't pitch good enough to play how manieri has recruited this roster to play.

I'm blaming manieri for changing his recruiting to smaller faster guys. He did that bc of the changes in the game due to the bats,

No he did that because Travis Jankowski drug his nuts all over our Raph Rhymes/Mason Katz/Alex Edward outfield.

Making Omaha would be a huge season at this point.

Where are the CPM haters? by Live2CTigersWin
Name places where they probably are now. :)

I'm sitting right here laughing at your dumb arse for believing he is such a great coach. His teams consistently under achieve but some people are content to follow him down the Les Miles rabbit hole. I'll be here in the coming weeks to eat all the crow you can dish out if it happens to be, but I wouldn't hold my breath. The sun shines on a dogs arse every once in a while. Love my Tigers but don't care for the coach. Deal with it!

Nah, you don't. You're a loser SLU fan who has perpetual purple and gold penis envy.

You don't know baseball nearly as well as you think you do

I think "consistently underachieve" is a tad unfair.

We do? Do you really think this team can afford to lose a game and make it out of a regional? Much less a super or cws. Get real dude. Wait and see what happens in the sec tournament first. We have to play perfect, the games have to play directly into our scheme/plan for it to work bc we don't have the hitting or pitching to win a game on their own. What team have you been watching? U really think this team is nc caliber? You do not know what youre talking about if you do. Plain and simple.

No body hates an LSU victory more than an LSU "fan".

CPM licks donkey balls. He's just like Les Miles, he wins just enough games to keep his job. Another crappy hire by Skip B.

I dont. I thought lsu should have at least made it further in the cws than we have. It's been a joke since 2009. I'm an lsu fan but I'm not oblivious to what's going on. LSU is better than this and manieri should be canned if he doesn't at least make a good run in the cws in the next 2 years. I expect LSU to do that, you may not. It's not an unrealistic expectation, this is LSU baseball motherfricker, we should be doing these things.

How about in NCAA tourney when it really matters?
How often have we overachieved or performed as expected there?

He can reload with talent. That is for sure. Not sure how much of it is the LSU name, but he genuinely loves his players much like Les. He does make good hires that turn over to become successful head coaches themselves. But somethings he does leaves me scratching my head.

For example, managing the bullpen, and putting a pinch runner into a game for a little more speed too early in the game.

I teetered on underachieved just because they lost to Stony Brook, but that team had major flaws, so being one win from Omaha was not bad.

Anytime LSU doesn't win a regional at home, it's an automatic underachievement.
