Most of the time there are legit reasons the said player isn't playing so the thread comes off as a "why is Les playing his pet player over the better player" thread. Especially when the thread starter has a history of this...

Yeah, I gotcha. So we should always assume the worst. It sure makes having a decent conversation in this board, impossible.

i think Blue got some carries cause of what happened to his family. Kind of take his mind of things.

Wth that being said he made the most of it, and looked really good.

These "superfans" are pitiful. In other news, teh SI curse befell Michael Ford himself, not the team.

I was wondering how long until the SI curse took effect. I believe it's the most plausible explanation.

Definitely looks more polished in the past few qtrs. Doesn't look like an athlete playing RB. Looks like a real, solid RB now.

Ford is getting Keilanded. Miles has been trying to do this for two years. He put Blue in as the 2nd RB before Ford at the start of this year and last year. Only Blue being terrible and Ford being really good got that reversed. Now we will go into Bama giving Blue 15 carries for 32 yards because Miles hates RBs who make big plays and upstage his hard nosed starters. Pets>Wins as always with Less.

You don't have to assume. He said his whole "punished" BS in his first post, and has subsequently said that the reason is a fact. Because one fumble makes all the difference in the world, nevermind that as a runner Blue looked better against UK.

If you're Ford, and you struggle with aspects of your game away from making big plays carrying the ball, you are going to lose carries to a guy like Blue if he looks like the hotter hand. Simple as that.

So when a poster says Blue is getting more carries and Ford is getting less as "punishment" for only one play, then yes, that is hating.

it is a punishment. les doesnt tolerate fumbles and never has. whenever a player has fumbled in the past he has rode the pine

those are facts

I am pretty sure LSU playing the players it wants to play over the players you want them to play = more wins. Just a hunch.

When Hester fumbled it was ok. Ware fumbled against Oregon and it was ok. You just cant fumble and not be the throwback tough RB. Alabama is trembling at the thought of us giving Blue 10-15 carries at 2 yards a pop.

PLaying a CUSA level RB in Alfred Blue = more wins than playing Ford?

Isn't it funny that Ford averages 5.8 ypc in the first 4 games a year with at least 12 carries per game, and has one down game where the OL blocking was utter shite, and is it in the same game that Ware runs like shite before his injury.

Blue gets yards on a garbage drive against WVU and then time against a worn down UK and is magically an amazing back and Ford sucks to some of these.

Instead of discussing it logically, idiots like geauxjo attack a legitimate question by claiming massive hate for Blue.

People criticized Blue last year because he was young and made some mistakes. I have yet to see anyone this season attack Blue, but God forbid anyone question why Ford is sitting on the bench.

Blue likely got some carries today because of what happened with his family. Coaches are trying to support him.

Also, bitching about Ford's performance last week when JJ screwed him in the option/read option plays is not hating apparently.

7 of Ford's 9 carries against UK came after he fumbled. Goodnight to another cheap, misinformed, Miles/LSU personnel argument.

Maybe fumbling and missing blocks are legit reasons to drop on the depth chart?

Is this offe. limits in the rantard handbook? Just curious

frick this fricking board. You asked a simple question, didn't belittle Blue or any player, and these stupid motherfrickers are too fricking retarded to grasp that. These fricking "superfans" are the worst. Just because you ask a question, doesn't mean you hate Miles, LSU, JJ, Blue, or whoever these retarded fricks want to unnecessarily knight for.

THIS!

Is Blue a better RB than Ford? Or even in the same ballpark?

Your CUSA RB just got 5 yards a carry on stacked Florida lines.
