i got 1 person saying everyone thinks blue is better than ford
others saying everyone hates blue's guts
why couldnt this thread just stay on track and discuss when michael ford would start seeing more PT after a fantastic start to the season?
im also wondering when deangelo peterson will start to be more involved. earlier in the year i was wondering when jarvis landry would see more time. i guess i just hate all aspects of the offense, wow

It's apparent you can't advocate for someone and not hate everyone else. Unless it's specific individuals.
I thought Ford looked really good when he got his touches. Hate to see him fade into oblivion.

I think Ford is solidly our number two guy. I liked seeing Blue in there though after the week he and his family went through.

Considering the way LSU is running the ball, I am positive there is room for three RB's. I think Blue McGee got more carries the last 6 qtrs than Ford. Blue has impressed me though the past few games as he looks more like a RB now than he did in the past.
Wondering what happened is a legit question as Ford looked good in the time he was in favor.

I trust Miles knows who is the best back...when to sub in whom, etc... at this point. If he wanted to line up Fobbs in the backfield I would be all for it.

If you haven't seen the pattern in Ford posts you haven't been paying attention. Just look at the lead post, talking about Ford being "punished." As if one action alone is the only thing keeping him from getting carries, not that maybe, just maybe, Miles and company are playing the hottest/best hand right now. (Of which I have no doubt, speed, burst, fumbles, caches, blitz pickup, and instincts all play a part.) By saying Ford is "punished," there is an assumption that his overall game is at all times better than Alfred Blue.
Ford has his strengths, he will get his carries, and he will make his big plays. Doesn't mean it is in the best interest of this team to get him 15 carries every game.

Most of the time there are legit reasons the said player isn't playing so the thread comes off as a "why is Les playing his pet player over the better player" thread. Especially when the thread starter has a history of this...
