Not the most recent but several come t mind, tn and willie Gault outran lifford hobley (fast dude) and turned a Lsu win into a tie 1982, in I bowl in 1995 Faulk and Mich st guy went back to back on td returns fr td and fault almost made it three in a row, nd in 1986 Tim brown after we drove field on opening drive to make game close, texas A&M used our kick off play (former Lsu player, current Dallas cowboys radio guy Bryan broadens had gone from Lsu to A&M staff and taught them our play) to start 1989 season in start of end for archer,

Didn't Dubose from UF run one back in the 2010 game in Gville?

I'm guessing he means Iowa. Guy got knocked out like 4 yards shy of a touchdown.

I hope that with Gamble, not a single kick is returned the next four seasons. Well at least two thirds of them.

We haven't had our own KOR for a TD in Tiger Stadium since 1981 vs Kentucky.

Kickoff, not a punt return. We've had several PRTDs throughout the years.

Sorry, I meant Iowa. He basically returned it all the way. Also vs kent state or uab they returned one but it was called back.

This is the one that came to my mind when I read the OP. Hobley was a great safety, and was part of one of the greatest secondaries in LSU history with Jeff Dale, Gino Daniels and Jimmy Britt, iirc. While the game ended tied, Gault's return wasn't the final score. The Vols eliminated a 6 point LSU lead with two FGs in excess of 50 yards (I think).

Coach Stovall, commenting on speedster Willie Gault's return, said, "All I heard as he passed was 'Beep, beep'".

The Tennessee game in 1982 was tied because of our horribly timed turnovers. We were SO much better than they were.
