Ehh, I guess. Fisher was the coach in waiting and Bowden's retirement was eminent as his contract was coming to an end. I wouldn't qualify that as being forced out considering there was a succession plan in place.

Well, Bowden said himself that he wanted another year and they didn't give it to him. It wasn't as bad as some force outs, but Bowden is a legend. Also, those coach-in-waiting things don't always pan out. Muschamp was the coach-in-waiting at Texas, but that never happened.

He, himself, has very little to do with that .775 percentage other than getting the players there.

You do realize that recruiting better players than the other team is 9/10 of having a good team? So I would say Miles has had a LOT to do with LSU being successful. And he is the one who hired those good coordinators.

Oh..oh I see....so because they all struggled, then naturally so will LSU. Makes perfect sense to me.

What makes you think LSU will be an outlier?

Either you don't know what the gambler's fallacy is, or you're not referencing anything said in the OP.

The gambler's fallacy would imply that LSU's chances of hiring a top coach are increased due to the rarity with which that usually happens. The same idea that 20 straight heads leads people to think that chance for a tails increases on the next flip.

I'm using history to point out how difficult it is to find a successful replacement for successful coaches.

Never thought I would see the day where Alabama fans would post on the rant and make more sense than the posts from so called "LSU fans."

Thanks for your post samson.

What evidence suggests they won't?
