I actually thought he looked pretty good running some of the pass routes. He dropped a couple, but he showed some quick feet in a couple of them.

I said none of those things. What is it with you cajuns putting words in people's mouths? You all do it.

I hope Brossette proves me wrong. I doubt it, though.

Dude is clearly tentative on that knee. Do you think that's a good quality in a RB? Am I missing something?

Thats what 90% of forums are now. A person repeating what they just read someone post before them acting like they had an original thought. Some even start new threads.

I wasn't replying to just you specifically, but you did fit into my general reply. I directly provided stats to disprove what you said though.

Here is a fact......if Brossette wouldn't have been shown in the video with the RB coach riding him then this thread wouldn't be made.

Here are 4 reasons Brossette has yet to break through.

1. Torn ligament in his knee
2. Leonard Fournette
3. Derriuce Guice
4. Les Miles

In what little he has played, he has done decent. Although, he hasn't played enough to really judge (either way). Something tells me he will get his chances in these next two seasons.

Unfortunately, he's been very underwhelming in his time at LSU. Especially when you consider where he and Guice were at this time 2 years ago to date.

An ACL injury early in your career will do that.

I'm not prepared to write off Nicholas just yet. Let's see how he develops this offseason before passing any judgment.

I still can't believe we couldn't sign a solid 5 star back this year??? We are RBU without a RB!!!!!

Guice says what's up.

Only good RBs that exist were 5 stars?

Canada also said something along the lines of needing to get the bad voice on his shoulder away so he clearly is struggling.

Freshman- 12 carries 65 yards, 5.4 ypc

Sophomore- 15 carries 145 yards, 9.7 ypc

Those stats?

Y'all watched a video of a coach yelling him to get lower when running through the dummies, and then come back here and repeat what the coaches told him like you all discovered his glaring problem that has made him suck all along. Here's a news flash....in the little time he's gotten to play, he has done pretty damn good.

Thank you. All these people talking about he sucks are you kidding me? LF7 and Guice are some pretty huge shoes to fill. Imagine being stuck behind them and DW. How many carries has he gotten in his career less than 30.

Coach Robinson is on hard on him now because he knows he has to more than likely rely on "Nicholas!" to be our starting back next year. He is trying to overhaul NB's game now so next year the things he is struggling with will not be an issue.

I'm hoping he finds his old self. If not, its next man up.

Brossette and Williams, LSU needs both of them to explode this coming season.

If not.

I'll RYDE with CLYDE!

Even with LF7 Guise I expected to see NB carry the ball a little more than what he did. If he don't get more touches this coming year then you know it's a problem. I hope the best for him but he seems weak and fragile

Makes no sense. He'd be lucky to get 5 carries a game with 2 first round picks in front of him. We hardly blew anyone out this past year, so the majority of reps went to LF7 and guice. The remaining typically went to Williams.

Right...they certainly should have taken carries away from LF7 and Guice to give him more.

The dude is coming off a ligament tear. That's the only time he's been hurt. Just shut up.

Blaming it on Miles is a bullshite cop out. Miles didn't make him fumble.

look out for Edwards- Helaire in August to pass him.

This is going to happen. I think it was the Auburn game Brossette got drilled and he hasnt been the same since.

There were multiple videos posted that looked poor. Hell the walk on running backs were putting more effort and fight into the drills. I was simply asking what his deal was, as he will likely be starting game 1 2018, and getting a lot of carries this year as well. Obviously Tommie Robinson feels the same way.

Jeez man, don't get so defensive.

Did I say Miles made anybody fumble? Miles is to blame for our shitty offense. He holds some of the blame for lack of QB, WR play as well...which led to us not winning many games by wide margins...which led to lack of carries for a 3rd/4th string back.

Or maybe he knows this, and is pushing him harder to try to get everything he can out of him. Canada has been on Etlings arse in multiple videos, why not start a thread asking what's wrong with him?
