Arguably Skip Bertman and the Warren Morris HR made college baseball as popular as it is today!
Was huge for LSU and college baseball!
Billy Cannon run is a toss up and could be said to be #1
Blue Grass Miracle is third.....Kentucky fans storming the field is priceless!

There's no way it's Morris's HR. College baseball isn't popular enough.

Its easily one of the most recognizable plays in lsu history.

Yes the Morris homer and the Cannon run are easily the two most iconic plays in LSU sports history. There's no other play even close to these two.

My mom started crying after that play because she had finally gotten to see lsu win a national title.
I drove to my parents house to watch that game with them and when I got to the door I see she has her face painted in lsu colors. I will always be thankful to Saban for giving us that moment

There are a few Fournette runs that make the cut for me. I was watching CBS sports draft preview and they were rolling his highlights while discussing him, he's just amazing. K Faulk probly had the best highlight reel for LSU running backs before Fournette but his eclipsed Faulks. The power the wiggle the speed, we've never had anyone like him.

FIFY bc I have no doubt you're the same in real life and on here.

And it's Cannon's run, no doubt.

I was at that game. Never seen an atmosphere like that anywhere in any sport. The collective body heat from the crowd created a steam you could visibly see above the field. Got lucky too I was living in Lake Charles at the time and my roommate was coaching at Barbe. Saban and JV came a few weeks later to recruit Ryan Miller the Right Tackle I believe it was and my roomate got them to sign our championship game tickets. They're laminated and hanging on my wall.

My stepdad is a a huge Georgia fan and we watched the SECCG together. All year he had written off the first game as fluke and said the better team didnt win. When Justin Vincent broke through for his long run I just remember jumping up and running around the house screamin," TO THE HOUSE! TO THE HOUSE! TO THE HOUSE!" Needless to say that the last time we watched lsu play georgia in the same room.

Alphas do alpha things. If you haven't noticed you are the only one in this thread trying to start an argument.

Cannon's run is #1. Hodson to Fuller TD that caused a seismic shift is #2. Morris' HR is the greatest single play in all of LSU sports. With one swing he moved the NC from Miami to Baton Rouge.

Oh yea it's my prized Tiger possession. I have a basketball signed by Rudy Mac, a signed Arnold Miller game helmet, a program signed by Shaq, and a couple of World Series baseballs singed by the team but that ticket is my favorite. Something about that game and when it happened is just special to me.

For LSU fans, absolutely. It's not LSU's most famous play though.

Flynn to Byrd against Auburn with 1 sec stands out to me. It was a 3rd down play and if that is incomplete we have to make a 35-40 yd to win the game. We won the NC that year so that play was absolutely needed to win the NC.
