I was discussing this with someone thats 18 and he firmly said the Bluegrass miracle. I said its without question Billy Cannon's Halloween run. I guess this would be broken down by age probably.

Are we talking just football? If not, Warren Morris's Home Run.

As far as football it's Cannon's run. The stakes in that game were much higher. The Kentucky win is memorable and dramatic though.

It's between Morris' GW HR or Cannon's run. Considering the circumstances, bottom 9th etc. ... It has to be Morris

The Bluegrass miracle gets shown nationally once every few years, usually when another school does something similar. The Billy Cannon run gets shown multiple times a year.

I should've put just football. Its my bad. Overall its gotta be Morris' HR. 1st pitch HR to win a national title. Doesn't get anymore dramatic and meaningful than that.

The other guy was saying that lots of cfb fans nationally know what the Bluegrass Miracle is while probably only sec fans know what Billy Cannon Halloween is.

There's no way it's Morris's HR. College baseball isn't popular enough.

Cannon's run is on a list by itself. Everything else is a distant 2nd.

Nixon to Twillie for the win. A great player but I don't think it gets to the level of the other 2.

The Cannon run vs Ole Miss, Halloween, 1959. Nothing else is even close.

Yes the punt return by Cannon. The Bluegrass miracle was very dramatic, but LSU just ended up 8-5 which ties for their worst record this century. OM would have been undefeated if not for that and won the NC against the defending NC. OM beat LSU 21-0 in the Sugar Bowl that year.

In baseball, Warren Morris is the easy answer and it is doubtful will ever be tied. As I recall the Miami pitcher was an AA and this may have been the only earned runs he gave up all year.

My pic. If LF has an epic nfl career then his run against A&M in 2014 will be replayed for a generation.
