A new coach. Miles is so predictable when playing Bama. that game gets less competitive each year.

Really it comes don to O-line play. When we can control the line of scrimmage, we win against anybody. When we get our asses kicked (like this year), it aint too pretty...

Alabama beats everybody in the trenches. We need to start landing more elite linemen and develop them, especially if we continue to run what we run offensively.

We need the same philosophy on offense that we had in 2012. We were as aggressive as I've ever seen us, we just have to finish next time

More depth on the lines
Better offensive play calling
Intelligent QB

Offense is too easy to defend and D-line gets tired.
Smash mouth football doesn't work against Bama...there built for it.

I think development of a college QB comes from the mind and decision making not how fast he is or how strong his arm is. Accuracy and intelligence is the key.

Yeah, Reid's takeaway was important obviously but Alabama kicker MISSING 4 Field Goals, remember only 1 attempt was blocked; that should be remembered as well.

Don't think you can depend on a kicker going 2 for 6, can you.

Completely agree with your entire post; would only add one area concerning Qb qualities; has to be able to make quick decisions, needs to be quick with the mind.

Receivers who catch passes on 3rd down, fullbacks that don't fumble going into score, defensive players who don't blitz when they are supposed to cover the back , other defensive players who take the right angle and make the open field tackle in bounds and on this alone we get 2 -3 more wins .

1. complete different offense game plan. Bama has the coaching and the players to stop our run game. they flood the gaps and overwhelm our OL with the mismatch. instead of crumbling and continuing to try to run the ball against these odds we need to scheme to take advantage of what we know they will do and burn 'em for it. that, obviously involves passing the damn football.

2. understand that no matter what we do well in the first half, bama will adjust at halftime; both offense and defense. we have to be prepared for that and adjust ourselves if needed.

an offense has to take what the defense gives them (when playing a very good opponent) to win the game.

better RECRUITING, especially in the TRENCHES.

A better offense scheme and better QB play.
