Exactly!!

quote:

"I guess what I'm saying is I'm in the key piece of my season where the big plays have yet to have been made (and) As I go into the next game, I look for those plays to be more important than anything that we've done in the past

What's so confusing about that? We're entering a crucial part of our season, and those plays are more important now than any other time in the season up to this point
.
quote:

, and to say that I have any opinion to this point that would be finite would not.

So he obviously has not decided that our receivers suck OR that our receivers are Heisman contenders and it's a fluid situation. Seems pretty reasonable.

quote:

Really, I'm expecting this receiving corps to do the things that they've done in the past, and that is rebound and play like hell and play well. If they do that, that's just what I want to see them do.

Yeah, this quote is soooo confusing.

quote:

In many instances there is some developing going on, and there are some guys, in my opinion, who are a little bit nicked and will probably be playing with greatest health this Saturday."

Again.... sooo confusing.

Just like English class in high school, it helps when you break things apart into smaller pieces. Most of us grownups can handle complex sentences and complex thoughts, but I understand where some on The Rant might have trouble with that. That's what the rest of us are here for.

That reads more like Heidegger or Marx, than it does a dumbass. He should write his answers instead of speak them imo.

Translation:

We are in the heart of our season and we haven't played to our full potential. Our receivers are pretty beat up and the bye week has helped us heal up some nagging injuries. Look for this team to play very inspired against a tough opponent this saturday.

You're welcome.

NO, what he said is in the first post.

THIS! Why in the hell does a grown man need to make up 7 run on sentences to make a simple answer to a question? If that is what he meant, then why in the frick didn't he say that?

It's not like he's from Russia where there is some sort of language barrier that he is overcoming. If a damn player has a twisted ankle injusry, just say his ankle hurts and pain is the only thing keeping him from playing. DOn't go into the whole "well certainly there is a want to have the ability to decipher the necessary nerve ending which are focal around the lower exremities that may perceive to imply there is so discomfort to the point where he is able."

frickING SHUT UP AND JUST TALK LIKE A HUMAN BEING!

...Oh yeah, and hire a fricking OC that doesn't confuse the players more than your speeches!

IT IS THAT SIMPLE!

My nuts are on the line and these dipshits still can't catch the fricking ball 8 games into the season.

If we don't get this shite fixed y pronto before we play Bama, I'm pretty sure I'm fricked.

quote:

Really, I'm expecting this receiving corps to do the things that they've done in the past, and that is rebound and play like hell and play well

I'm hoping these guys will un-frick themselves ASAP and start catching the ball like they did when we actually had one decent player behind center.

quote:

If they do that, that's just what I want to see them do.

If they do that, I might not be fricked.

Some of these guys don't suck, and the ones who have sprouted lips better tuck them in and play like they have a pair this Saturday.

There are big plays to be made as we go down the stretch and we are looking for better things out of the passing game/receiving corps.

quote:

Really, I'm expecting this receiving corps to do the things that they've done in the past, and that is rebound and play like hell and play well. If they do that, that's just what I want to see them do.

I expect the receivers to play better and play harder after the embarrasing performance against AU.

The receivers haven't been completely healthy, and there are a lot of young receivers who are still learning the postion.

it's a riddle...start with the middle to the end and then start over, it actually is more coherent that way.

I really would love everyone to try this experiment:

Record a short monologue of yourself. Then, transcribe EXACTLY as it is said to paper. Then post it to The rant so we can all make fun of how ignorant you sound.

I'm not saying the guy can't speak more clearly, but give him a break. Speaking and writing are very different for normal people.

SO then have him type his fricking answers onto a teleprompter so we can read them! Anything but that continued drippled jibberish.

This guy is an embarrassment.

That's what it's all about for me.

Doesn't matter what happens this week or the rest of the season. Could care less about his overall winning %.(Which is bolsterd by wins over mostly OOC SOTP schools) My main concern is everything that's happened since the conclusion of that National Championship game in January of 2008. No need to rehash it all. We all know the problems because they're discussed here every day ad infinitum ad nauseum.

It's just that some people with clear vision look deeper down below the surfcae, see the problems and "Get It", while others are too busy waving their P + G pom poms and arse kissing to see the overall bigger picture........

Why can't he say "Yes, their blocking sucks. They better improve or they're gonna ride the bench soon."

No coach is going to put his guys under the bus. It's just not right.
