Especially UGA...
Before anyone thinks I'm blaming this on the tie...I'm not. I just think it's strange.

I agree, you just don't stop playing like that.
Besides, how many of those kids were planning on going to class tomorrow morning anyway?

They probably had a charter that had to be off the ground by a certain time.

Just another reason why MLB > NCAA baseball.

For some reason a lot of SEC teams pick and choose which series they are going to charter. Charter one weekend, regular flight the next, weird for these big programs.

most baseball programs run a negative budget, LSU is one of the exceptions. I suspect UGA doesn't make a profit for their baseball program so they don't use charter flights.

Delta is one of their flagship sponsors. Like cap1, mcdonalds, etc. for LSU. I'm sure something could be arranged.

LA Aircratf, which is where the charter flights leave from, does not close until 10pm. I was there today, and there wasn't a charter plane on the ground waiting for the team. They must have driven for sure .

I'm assuming they didn't drive but took the 5:25 flight to ATL which is the last of the night.

The Dodgers and Diamondbacks each get a Qantas 747 and UGA has to take a scheduled ExpressJet CRJ home.
