9-3... My reasonable brain says this isn't a bad record considering the schedule and draft losses; deep down I'd be disappointed at another nonBCS bowl.

Depends on who we would lose to. If we lost to ole miss disappointed would be an understatement. Also I don't think I can handle another bowl game loss. 3 losses wouldn't be that bad if neither of those happened

Im not sure about the wins, I just dont want to lose to a team we shouldnt. If we lose to Bama, UF, UGA, and maybe TAMU, depending on how Manziel is and all that, id be ok with that. Those teams are all competing for a national title. I know that Ole Miss is very excited about the future of their program, but i still think we should beat them. If we lose to any other teams, including TCU, its a disappointment.

I would be incredibly disappointed with 3 losses. There's no excuse for any more than 2, and that's stretching it.

How many teams do we play that have equal or more talent than us. Exactly one. Therefore, I'd be disappointed if we lose more than that one game because it will be to an inferior team.

Bama, UF, and UGA are all just as talented as we are. And considering we have so many 1st time starters, Im not sure how you can say only Bama is as talented as we are.

4 losses or more would be disappointing.

While 3 would be hard to stomach, the schedule could easily have 3 losses on it.

9-3 would be the worst passable season, 8-4 would be really crappy because that will have meant LSU pretty much lost to all the elite teams they played.

What in the hell are you talking about? So you wouldnt be disappointed if we lost to any of these teams? They arent even in the same ballpark as us talentwise.

"No" excuse for losing more than 2? Are you nuts?!?! Our schedule is brutal and we lost a pantload of starters on defense. Just because we're LSU doesn't mean we're entitled to win tough games. We have to earn them, and our schedule this year is packed with elite teams and some other very good teams. You can't just wish your way to a 10-2 season.

LSU-
Barkevious Mingo

Kevin Minter
Bennie Logan
Sam Montgomery
Tharold Simon
Lavar Edwards
Spencer Ware

Georgia-
Jarvis Jones
Alec Ogletree
Johnathan Jenkins
Shawn Williams
Sanders Commings
Tavarres King
Cornelius Washington
Bacarri Rambo

Florida-
Sharrif Floyd
Matt Elam
Jonathan Bostic
Jordan Reed
Jelani Jenkins
Mike Gillislee
Caleb Sturgis
Josh Evans

We were more talented than both of those teams last year and they lost more than us. What are you talking about?

I'm more worried about Murray & the two headed running game they have. I agre that UGA's defense won't be as impressive as ti was last year.

With all that being said, I still give UGA & UF a slight edge over LSU at this point.

I disagree that LSU was more talented than UGA last year.

Anything below 11 wins and 2 losses, including bowl game.

I don't expect an SEC championship this year, but should a split in games that should be competitive is realistic.

Wow. Just wow. Who's playing QB for Florida again? We do play them at home also, you realize that right? And UGA, that could realistically be a loss because Murray is elite and experienced and they have home field, but we have experience as well, more talent on the O-line, skill positions (Marshall and Gurley are great, but we are way more talented at WR), D-line, linebackers, secondary, and we have more quality depth than them.
