LOL You really think CUM (the king of blowing people out) played conservative

yes he learned from his mistakes in 2007. I watch alot of florida games over the past few years and if you tell me that the playing calling last night from florida was consistent on what they are accustomend to I will say you don't watch much college football.

It is stupid to say UF wanted to keep it close with us since Meyer knows that is like playing with fire with LSU this year.

while i agree meyer played it kinda conservative, he also had tebow throwing with less than 5 minutes left in the game up 2 scores, that wasn't conservative

why didn't Urban blow us out, he had no reason to hold back. Doesn't he always put teams away when he has the chance??

Urban had TBow throw deep with 4:50 to go in the game. That was the not "holding back" part. We intercepted a poorly thrown ball. Gary Danielson was shocked that Urban called that play.

So, Urban was held in check because of the LSU defense, and he, like all the LSU fans, kept waiting for the LSU offense to wake up, which we never did.

explain all the runs up the middle. Florida didn't exactly open their playbook last night.

Would you purposely stay within a score or so with a team you know has weapons on offense. Definitely when you are away.

Yes, because when Florida looks like shite..."they intended to do it", but when LSU looks like shite, they just look like shite. Good call there.

That was their playbook, we just made it look weak in comparison to the other teams they have played.

The D deserves the credit on this one.

The offense that I am sure every coach in the SEC knows is greatly underacheiving. It is one thing to maybe not feel threatened up by something like 21 against a strugglingoffense with talent. Meyer knows that was not an insanely comfortable lead.

It is stupid to say that playing conservative means "wanting to keep it close."

I can't help you if you can't see the difference.

That doesn't make UF "good", and LSU "bad" though. It just means it was a tight, defensive game.

Tebow wasn't at his best, but he was at about 95%, but he had busy feet, the best qb in the land was scared

Oh, I completely agree.

But I've said on here multiple times that Meyer played it conservative and people try to equate that to WANTING to keep it close.

That's just silly.
