What negativity has JJ had to endure compared to Howard and Lee? Lee's offense even with the pick 6's was better than any offense JJ has ever lead. 2009 was blamed on the OL. 2010 was blamed on Crowton. JJ hasn't received anything near what Lee got in 08 as far as negativity from the fans.

Carl Otis Trimble. First starting black QB in history of LSU and couldn't hit the broad side of a red barn. Got forced in the position after Mike Miley left early to play pro baseball. Probably finished doing MacLendon in on both counts.

Howard by far, but we fail to recognize the true cause of the negativity in all three cases. Piss poor coaches. We shouldn't have anything negative to discuss about these players because they shouldn't have been put in the positions to make so many mistakes. That sorry piece of shite Lynn Amadee is to blame for the '94 Auburn debacle. Howard should have been pulled after the 2nd pick six, let alone put in the same situation 4 more times. Pathetic Coaching! Lee had no business ever starting for LSU. He is too prone to screw up. He lacks poise. Doesn't seem to handle pressure and complexity well at all. Jefferson's athletic ability overcompensates for his inablility to be a true field general, but that will only carry you part of the way. You can't win championships with that style QB with any consistency. LSU will be good with Jefferson this year. They'll probably win 10+ ballgames, but they need a true field general to win it all. If Jefferson hasn't separated himself clearly and decisivly by now(his senior season) he's not going to. That decision is on Miles. It's not their fault. All 3 of these young men just wanted to line up and give it there best in doing what the COACHES directed them to do. The responsibility lies with the coaches.

For those who are old enough to remember, what Jamie Howard endured was by far the worst. It was truly embarrassing. The kid was getting death threats after that game. The fact that he is mentioned in this list is testament to just how intense the criticism was because, as stated, it was almost entirely over a single game.

And it was definately Amedee's fault.

I think as of now it is Howard then Lee than JJ and I dont think JJ has received the amount Howard got for that Auburn game or Lee got for 2008.

I think this year either JJ slips off the list if he really has improved and shows it during the season on a consistent basis or if he turns out to be the same old JJ then he may move ahead of Howard. Based on his quotes about Crowton and the PR campaign being run for him if he turns out to be JJ 2010 again he is not going to be looked on favorably at all historically by the fanbase.

Craig Nall. That's funny. He's not a Tiger. He's a demon. Quitters shouldn't get recognized here. One thing about Howard, JJ, and Lee is they finish what they start even in the face of adversity.

Lee without a doubt IMO.
There are some mentally challenged people on this board that still believe jefferson is actually a good qb!!

I feel like a bitch about it now but me and friends were all ridiculously happy when he got injured that year. (Before I get torn apart on here, I feel like a dick about it and never wish that anyone gets hurt)

Jordan Jefferson
He was heavily criticized last season but he was sharing the blame with Miles and Crowton.

I don't think Howard finished anything. His excuse for leaving for the NFL a season early was his age. We all knew the truth was that Rohan Davey was going to be the starter the next season.

Dude you got Howard and Booty mixed up. Howard was injured a little past midway of his senior season and Herb Tyler took over. Was the year they beat Nick and Mich St in the Indy bowl. Howard was actually haveing a decent year before his injury but that was his senior season.

Booty left after Rohan came in and saved the Peach Bowl. It was at the end of Booty's junior year!
