Believe in progress. Need to beat TAMU Sat. After that, reality will come fast. I’m hoping for 8-10 in SEC play currently.

Excited to see this team grow, pull off some upsets and maybe backdoor its way into an NIT berth.
I'm more optimistic about what this team can be next year and beyond when recruiting isn't handcuffed.

I’d feel like a lot better if we didn’t do such damage to our resume in non-conference, but at least there is now hope.

I’m pleasantly surprised. Didn’t expect many road wins. Having one against A&M made me pretty happy.

I think they have done a really good job winning the SEC games that have been “winnable” to go along with the big upset at A&M. Saturday is another winnable game.
After that, the road gets tougher with 5 of the next 7 away from home. Win Saturday and somehow get 3 or 4 of the next 7 after that and the excitement level will be very high. But for right now this team is at least interesting

It's pretty encouraging that MM needed to rebuild the team twice in 2 years and he's got them playing at the level they are at, beating decent teams. It's not like he's taking on an easy assignment. It's just nice to have a reason to watch MBB games this year compared to last year so pretty excited.
