Nobody could single handedly dominate a basketball game like Pete Marivich could. Chris Jackson would be second, and Shaquille O’Neal in that order. IMO.

CJ vs Glass was amazing.

The Loyola game is by far my favorite game I witnessed in any LSU sport. Just an amazing game.

Garret Temple defensively against JJ Redick in the sweet 16. Maybe it wasn't the most dominant, but it was probably the most enjoyable game by a player that I have ever watched at LSU.

He scored 69 against Alabama & scored 68 against the Knicks before fouling out.

And CJ against Florida, I've never seen anything like that.

Wish I could say I had seen it, but Rudy Macklin grabbed 32 rebounds against Tulane in his first game as a Tiger. I believe this is still the LSU single game record.

I enjoy some of the Stromile Swift memories I have from childhood. He was electric.

Those would have been 75-80+ point games with a 3-point shot, and several other 60ish point games would have been 70+.

Remember that Pete played without one. He was 10 of 15 for 66.7% from three in the one NBA season he played with a 3-pt line. That was only playing 43 games and 22 minutes per game after his knees were bad.

I was just coming to post this. It won’t make most people’s top 5 because it wasn’t an explosive offensive showing. But it was one of the most dominant defensive games I’ve seen from a tiger.

I know what Peter did. However, I didn't get to see him in an LSU uniform, but remember seeing him play for the Jazz, and listening to the games every night.

Just two nights ago, one of the SEC networks or CBS, had on the game at Florida, where CJ scored 50+ AND fouled out at least three UF players in the process. I faintly remember that game, so it was good to see it.

Thus, with it fresh in my mind, this has to be one of the most dominant performances by and LSU basketball player that I saw.

Has to be CJ against Florida. Bill Raftery was calling the game and it was priceless, as was the Florida student body giving CJ a standing O. As far as CJ v. Glass, that was an amazing thing to watch; but I'm not sure how two amazing performances qualifies as the most dominant SINGLE performance.

He scored like 50 and fouled out three Gators who took turns trying to stop him. Never forget that game
