What is the most DOMINANT performance by an LSU basketball player you have ever seen..

Shaq had lots of dominant performances as did Chris Jackson. Has to be after the Pistol's time. My memory is fuzzy but I remember the crazy Loyola Marymount game where a freshman Shaq had the triple double with blocks playing against one of the greats Hank Gathers. Something like 20-24-12 stat line Gathers still went for almost 50. Gathers was a boss.
CJ had I think 4 50 or more games but don't recall how dominant he was over his competition.
Brian Beshara and Greet Hammink on the outside looking in.
Seriously I remember Marcus Thorton make my jaw fall to the floor when he got hot at home one game. Dude couldn't miss.

The dreads of doom during that World Series run was fun to watch. He was unhitable.

That a good one for baseball.

When Tasmin Mitchell scored 41 at Mississippi State in a double OT win where the entire team fouled out.
Except no one saw it because it wasn't on TV.

Indeed, CJ's performance v Gerald Glass in 89...CJ had 55, GG had 53.

I think I live streamed the radio broadcast for the out of towners that game and got a PM from chicken telling me to stop doing that

Probably Shaq (29-14, 6 blocks) against Arizona in 1990. Even though Shawn Griggs is the player I remember most from that game. I think he set the school record for steals in that game (8 is the number that's stuck in my head).

Antonio Hudson SECT FTW
in all seriousness Chris Jackson straight took over many a game. Hard to pick one.

CJ’s freshman year against Florida

#1 for Me CJ vs Illinois his Freshman year..there were 100s of people standing in the aisles that night and Illinois was #1 or #2 with Gill Battle Liberty Anderson Liberty etc. CJ single handedly kept us in the game and with about 6:00 left fouled out...the place had 1000 left by end of game. He was the most WATCHED player in the 80s 90s and 00s
2 games later he ht LA Tech up for 50+ (or 2 games earlier) Many a bourbon ago..
#2 This will not make anyones Top 20 prob but I remember the Tyrus Thomas game where he completely crushed everything he did ...for even the rabid hoops fan, TT came out of nowhere to dominate for about 8-10 games. someone help me with those couple games TT played...could be crazy lol
Shaq was awesome when we were there, but nothing he did compared to CJ. Shays was a display of raw power...like a home run hitter vs a gold glove .380 hitter...

These 2.
My #3 is Dwayne Scales over Sam Bowie SEC Tourney Championship game 1980. I remember Bowie even quoting he didn't know how he was making some of the shots cause he didn't think he could see the rim.

I once saw Pete Maravich score 69 in a game. His most ever. That was a replay of course, but I saw it.

That was with the Jazz in Superdome vs Knicks. I was there.
