i've had mine since 99', but if it gets anymore expensive, not gonna be worth it.

the last couple of years, the crap games people were literally giving them away free, no takers sometimes. and since we have 3/4 crap games a year, makes no financial sense.

Yea I agree, I'm part of a big tailgate on campus, there's rarely a game someone isn't begging someone else to use their tickets.

Why pay??

I still have two tickets but I'm about to bail because:
1) Shitty OOC opponents
2) Moronic fans sitting near me that 2nd guess every call.
3) Horrendous parking situation.
4) Disgusting bathroom facilities.
5) Lack of TV's at concession stands.
6) Like to bet on other games that I can't watch.
7) Old school fans aren't in the stadium anymore.
8) it's just not the same since 1/9/2012. I don't care anymore.
9) Would rather just go to away games.

We play fewer and fewer SEC home games at night. I think that is one reason why some LSU fans have given up their tickets. That, and an out of conference home schedule that seems to be getting increasingly worse.

Family has tickets. I manage them. Seats and passes top $6 total. IMO tickets are a deprecable asset, like a car. You can't really make money if you so chose. You need to want them for the right reasons. I've gone with family who used the seats, and paid $25 to sit in the same section before the game. Last year each seat with TAF fees was over $150 each in 301.

Even there, some lady spills red wine all over the back of the wife's shirt, refuses to apologize and denies it--well dressed, in her 50s, grown as woman. I end up nearly fighting the husband. Who needs that shite?

I'm a USC fan. That said, I'm a CF nut in general and I'm really looking forward to going to an LSU game and enjoying the hospitality and football. I've heard nothing but great things about it, and several of my friends are LSU die-hards.

You should come by the tailgate and see for yourself

I'm serious, I'm not a bad guy, just don't share your opinions on everything

I will either let mine go when I retire or transfer them to my son when I retire. Either way, once I arrive at that point in about three or four years I think I would rather spend my money on other things.

Don't get me wrong. I love the place. However, games are more often in day than at night. Prices are only getting higher. We are too packed together in there. Parking has turned into a bitch. For what I spend, I could probably get a very nice big TV and enjoy the game in my den.

as great as TV is it doesn't beat the experience of being in Tiger Stadium with 90,000 of your closet friends now about to be like 100,000 and yelling your heart out for your favorite team.

If I had the means and the time to go to football games I would be at every one.

The fans only yell about two times a year, cheaper to just pay for thpse two games individually

My family gave ours up last year. The main reason why is that so few of the home games are played on Saturday nights anymore. Additionally, with all games being televised the games take forever to play, and the constant interruptions for commercials take away much of the excitement and entertainment value.

The reason is simple:

I'm not forking out 3K a year for two tickets to watch regular season games that no longer mean a thing.

Not to mention the fact that since I pay TAF Fees, my fellow Tiger fans actively work to screw me when I try to sell my tickets for the same price I paid for them. They essentially turn into Democrats: "I want YOU to pay the TAF fee so YOU can sell me the ticket at face value." The concept that SOMOENE has to pay the fee to get the tickets out to the public goes over their heads...and good luck trying to sell tickets for solid SEC games without idiots on the Ticket Exchange hijacking your thread and telling you that you should suck up the fee (see my South Carolina game tix thread from last year).

Those two factors alone will have me watching on TV for free!

pay parking

worth every cent,I would make everything pay parking, too many spots are taken by those who do not even go to games. however over the last few years the traffic getting out has gotten worse and worse and is almost unbearable now. The bama and SC games last year were ridiculous. It took hours to get out after. The cops directing traffic (or lack thereof) is a joke. It is like BR has no plan that works. It is keystone cops.

All of these reasons gradually made me lose interest in my season tix. Before all that i rarely missed a home game.

yep. I have had season tix since 98 and have not missed many games. but now, I am reevaluating the situation. I will be busy with fallball softball with the kids the next two years anyway so i will miss a ton of games regardless. I have saints tickets as well. much cheaper! It may be easy to sell the sec games but on the junk games you will lose money.

couple that with tailgating all day in the heat, then waiting hours to get out after the game and plenty are exhausted after games. I've seen plenty who did not have the energy to make a two hour drive home afterward because it took 2 hours to get out. So they got a motel room(if they could).it is that bad in regards to traffic direction and flow.

There's rarely more than one or two games a year I want to attend. I'd rather watch them on tv at the hunting camp.
