What is the main reason you don't have LSU season tickets?

With about 10,000 more seats coming in the next few years I wonder if Tiger Stadium will continue to sell out football games. I have season tickets, but to be honest, I am considering giving them up, But the thought of not being in Tiger Stadium on a football Saturday Night is depressing. So, what keeps you home on a fall Saturday night?

I go tailgate Saturdays and never have a ticket, yet I always go to the game for less than face value. That's why I don't have tickets. Never sat in upper deck either.

I have them but very few games actually sell out. Yes, we do a great job with supporting the Tigers, but it is a myth that gaems always sell out. Sure, Bama, UF sell out, but the average fan can go to at least 65% of all games in last 10 years for face value or less....here comes the flames, but it is true...

I will keep mine, if for no other reason to do my small part to support the team financially, I attend almost all home games, but admit I skipped idaho last year.

I go to as many games as I can afford. Which is less than season tickets.

I had season tickets last year. $2,800 for 214. It pissed me off with people selling in my section outside the stadium for $15 for every game.

I won't be buying season tickets again.

Parking pass though is worth every penny.

TAF fees make justifying season tickets tough. You can literally go outside every game and get tickets. Even if you add up the choice tickets that pop up every other year, you still pay less in the long run.

I also don't have time to go to every game when I live out of state.

Exactly. I wouldn't even bother. I know support the university and such but if you don't go to every game and need only 2 tickets max per game...I wouldn't even invest any money.

Getting 4-6 tickets though together can get tough. Season tickets probably needed.

Tradition fees are paid to the Athletic Department, but in the end it is the same $$$'s going to the same places. I agree it is expensive, but also know that we must pay big $$$'s to have a top program. I guess I could just look for cheap seats each game, but I consider it a duty of fans to support their teams with their wallet too. Some can afford many thousands (not me), some can afford hundreds, but whatever I can do, I do.

Been thinking the same thing myself. Paying $4000/year for 4 tickets and a parking pass makes me think twice about it. Yea, there's nothing like Satuday in TS, but there something to be said for saving $4k, not fighting traffic, watching ALL games from my house in AC with clean bathrooms and fridge full of beer.

It's hard to give up the tickets because I'll never get hem back.

I have season tickets but am thinking about letting them go. I live in Birmingham and only make 4 games a year in BR. It would be cheaper to make the away games that are close to me and go to 2 big home games.

We play fewer and fewer SEC home games at night. I think that is one reason why some LSU fans have given up their tickets. That, and an out of conference home schedule that seems to be getting increasingly worse.

I've had tickets in hand once before leaving West Monroe to come to a game. Always easier and cheaper to get them outside the stadium.

The main reason is, I live in Houston and could not make it for every home game when i was young

Plus all the games are on TV. I usually make at least 1 game a year and frankly for me that's enough. At home or a friends house or a sports bar, the bathroom is close by with no line, cold beer is readily available along with food and no line to get the food.

Wife's law firm has tix and suite tix.

Plus I don't care about 50% of the home games.. Ie opponent or kickoff time.
