I don't think Beckwith is ready yet. I mean, he could leave early and get drafted at a good spot b/c of his potential and measurables...but he still has a ways to go to be a starter in the NFL. Hopefully he stays.

No.

Like I mentioned, we'll be running a lot of the 4-2-5 formation so expect the rotation, as of today, to look something like.

Duke/Alexander
Divinity/Fowler
Voorhies/Ray Thorton?

- Geez, have we ever been this slim/inexperienced at LBer?

At least we have God on our side.

Ed Paris is another 5 star bust, not a corner not a safety

I don't think Beckwith is entirely ready yet but he'll make a contribution in the NFL early with his size. Similar to Kwon leaving early making a contribution immediately with his low 4.5 speed.

Keep in mind that Darry Beckwith and Kendall are related. Darry stayed his senior season for LSU and got injured which hurt his draft stock.

This, along with the$$$ is why Kendall is gone. And it's a given.

Some Big Cat drills should firm him right up.

I really like Duke for the program, kid is all LSU but not as our starting MLB for goodness sake. This will be the death of this team.

I dont think so. We have always been pretty stacked for the most part. This is why it is so scary. The heart of any and every defense is its Linebacking core.

Corey Thompson might have to move down and play linebacker like Hatcher did in 11

Corey Thompson needs to make the change to lb as does Melvin Jones. Maybe Jones could pick it up quick enough to play the middle. He has the size and athleticism, may have to drop a few lbs.

This is why I dont understand the talk of Playoffs much next year at this point. We need a few big things to swing our way for me to feel even remotely better about the Lonebacker situation

I remember a couple years ago when Riley almost didn't get an offer. Might have been grey shirted if I remember correctly. Hard to imagine being even thinner at that position.

We are in trouble, why Kenny Young was so important a few years ago. We have been #2 on a bunch of backers the last few years, what is the problem?
