Does this really matter??? LSU was the better team and won the game.

but he seemed to be on the LSU/SEC bandwagon from the beginning.
It was off-set by BM doing the Oregon Circle Jerk.

Horrible. They blamed the loss on cramping and freshmen along with the rest of the nation.

This could apply to any thread on this site. What is your point?

Seriously. Most of the crap we talk about in "real life" doesn't matter. It's called conversation. It's fun.

Mushbuger is just awful though.

I gotta say, I'm kind of old school and go way back to the old "NFL Today" with Irv Cross, Phyllis George (former Miss America), Jimmy "The Greek" Snyder, and "intrepid cub reporter" Brent Musburger.

It was a top notch show for the time (doesn't hold a candle to today's pre-game shows).

It was on this show that Musburger came up with his,"You are looking LIVE at Atlanta's Fulton County Stadium"...

Sure he's a douche, but he's us oldtimer's douche.

Herby's a douche. His commentary last night was decent by his standards, but I'd still think he was a douche if he pulled my grandmother from a burning building.

Herbie was good...Musburger needs to learn to STFU. He was babbling away once while a ref was making a call.

Only WE get to make those comments!

They discussed it but he didnt accuse us of anything.. Although he did point out that they were back on the field a couple plays later...

Yeah. I notice he didn't make the same "comments" when Oregon players were cramping up about 15 minutes later though.

i blame the lsu coaches for that blunder...only 1 player should have been faking injury, not 2....lack of injury coaching IMO.

I don't know why people hate Herbie so much. I actually like him, and if Mussberger where in that both without him, I would have muted the TV.

Overall I thought he did a good job. The only couple of things I really disliked was his "when you're talking about the heisman don't forget [LaMichael James]" quote and when he insinuated LSU players were faking injuries when a couple of them went down with cramps.

The absolute worst part was after Bennie Logan went down with a cramp and then came back in a couple plays later. Herbie acted like it is impossible to get rid of a cramp but then never said a word about the Oregon players cramping up and coming back ni.
