Laird
Bregman
McMullen
etc.....

I think I like it.
I've been wanting to see Mcmullen in a spot where he might drive in a few more runs.
And hopefully with Lairds high OBP and Mcmullens hitting, Bregman may get good pitches to hit.

It scored two runs in 13 innings. Maybe the lineup wasn't the issue.

Still too much free swinging, no "plan" at the plate. But that's been like that since Javi has been the hitting coach.

Being impatient with risp is a big problem. Left 28 men on base in the series including 17 sunday.

I think bregman needs to stay in the 3 hole I think CPM was trying to relieve some pressure on bregs

I think Stevenson and laird leading off 1 and 2 is our best lineup

You NEVER EVER put your strikeout leader in either of the first 2 spots of the lineup.

You can't move Bregman out of the top 3 spots for more than a few games. He might be in a mini-slump, but we know he is going to get hot again. He's still our best hitter, and I would like for him to be in the top 3 in the lineup to come up as much as possible.

if they can't teach people not to swing 2-0 with bases loaded and 1 out... it doesn't matter how you juggle the lineup.

Especially after PM comes and talks to you.

REAL hitters love to hit with 2-0 and 3-1 counts. If you are not swinging from a tiny window in these counts you have a pretty bad plan...I dont care who your coach is.

I don't know about that robertson got a fat pitch over the heart of the plate and probably belt high, it was due to a great play by the CF that we didn't score at-least two runs.

well i think its a safe assumption PM told him to rip it if he put one down the pipe. I'd probably make him throw a strike, especially when its to on of our worst hitters. But i cant really complain about PM being aggressive.

Krob had a couple good hits today that couldn't find the hole. He almost hit it out but the strong wind kept it in. He hit a ball on the nose that was caught with a nice play by the CF.

He' still one of our worst hitters and when a walk wins the game i'd probably make him take a pitch. Especially since he had just walked the previous guy.

I still don't understand why he swung. Pitcher had thrown 3 straight balls. Wtf?
