How did JJ help us win the games that he didn't play in?

And why the frick should it matter to you, unless you are JL's mommy? We are 13-0. We could win a national championship and idiots like you would still not be satisfied with how Miles managed the season, because again you have chosen to side with an individual over the LSU team.

Because I don't like the level of disrespect that he is getting in favor of someone who deliberately hurt this team early on and acts like superman now. Its BS. We wouldn't have risked anything to put him in earlier in both games and let him do something meaningful

I hope all you fans that are saying "SHUT UP" about JLee are people that have more morals in your everyday life. This is a frickin football game. When you try to justify the humiliation of one kid to justify winning a football game, you sound pathetic. Both of those kids wanted to quarterback and they both gave their all. Coach Miles has made a mockery of JLee and has seemed to enjoying doing so. Maybe you think it is ok to treat people that way, but a lot of people don't.

For everyone that said that Jarret Lee could not have beaten Bama, let's remember that he played 1 quarter of the entire game. Is it possible that Jarret Lee could have shaken off the 2 picks and played better after that?

In Les' defense he sat JL and the second pick came at the beginning of the 3rd after he should have had some time to shake it off. Either way we are 13-0 and props are due to both qbs the defense the running backs wing alleman the coaches etc. No one person on the team deserves to be left out and no one persons role need be diminished all the way down to the scout team!

This isn't middle school football, and we aren't at practice, in the locker room, or in the film room. There could be a bunch of reasons...but it seems to me like the kids play with JLee and play for JJ. He is the leader.

Jordan Jefferson hasn't done shite. That little undeserving weasel rode the coattails of the defense and special teams the entire time he started. He shite himself tonight and was seconds away from doing the same against Arkansas. That is until Tyrann Mathieu took over the game. The defense is filled with warriors considering how much time they've spent on the field due to Jefferson's ineptitude.

Im sorry Lee has not been made a "mockery" teams have starters they have back ups. Its the same way in business etc. Les thinks that JJ gives the best chance to win. That is not making a "mockery" of the kid. There hare 60+ guys on the team who hardly ever get to see the field. James stampley is a senior who got a lot of playing time at the beginning of the year but it has gotten diminished. It wasnt a "mockery" to play copeland there. Relax. JJ and JL will both be able to say they were starters on the 13-0 LSU team. That will go a long ways in their future careers

Morality? What in the world are you talking about.

Unless you have an all-access pass to the inner workings of LSU's football program, and are not just another ill-informed fan posting on the Rant, you are speaking entirely without context.

If LSU were a 8-10 y.o. tee ball team and I were the coach, I would have played JL in every single game. But like you said, this is a fricking football game, so I'm going to go with the guy who our coaches (and if you have not noticed, they've managed to coach us to a 13-0 season) think gives us the best chance to win.

Nobody knows what's going on behind the scenes with this team.

Can we not give CLM the beneift of the doubt this season in regards the JL/JJ debate? He has led the team to 13-0, I think he deserves it.

Required reading for anyone who STILL wants to make this a Lee/JJ thang:

quote:

We also wouldn't be here if it weren't for JJ. We would have lost to Alabama. We beat our toughest opponent with JJ at the helm. That should tell you all that you need to know about how this has played out, you fricking crybaby whiners. Why on god's green earth would we play the guy that, FACTUALLY, could not carry us through our toughest test? This is freaking football, not TEE BALL. I don't give a rats arse what JL did in the beginning of the season, JJ got us to 13-0. FACT. We are making a historic run. Sit down and enjoy it. ETA: Not to take away anything from JL as he is truly a great tiger and has contributed greatly to our season as well. This is to the "tiger fans" who chosen side with an INDIVIDUAL (who has not, by the way, asked for your sympathy) instead of cheering for the LSU TEAM.

Give me a break. Anyone who watched that game would tell you that LSU would have lost without JJ running the option. Jarret Lee had terror in his eyes and gifted Bama with two INTs that they did not even have to earn.

We had ZERO 1st downs at the half today.

OMG, no player can EVER throw 2 INTs and regroup from that.

Not sure - maybe if we had plugged JL in we could have scored 42 unanswered points and won the game!!

Had nothing to do with JJ.

LSU won in spite of JJ.

JL carried us through----it's a team effort!

Read carefully.

Team effort.

And anyone with a football IQ of 50 would know that Shepard could have QB'd us to wins against WKY and Ole Miss. And possibly Ark. JJ had a nice second half with a good run.

Gary Danielson was spot on tonight. In the total scope of the team, J Lee is the most valueable Tiger.

Let's just hope JJ can do well with 44 days to prepare.

OMG!!! are you fricking serious?...

they looked at JJ today and he tanked!!!! that isnt a leader, anyone with one ounce of a brain can figure that out...TM7 was the leader, nothing was going good until he stepped up and lead the team on his punt return...TM7 has more respect from the team in his left nut then JJ will ever have...
