End of absolute domination and not repeating as NCs? Maybe. But they will compete every year for championships for the foreseeable future. Does not deter from the fact that LSU is on the upswing.

The cherry blossoms will attest no
But the tide recedes
The new age beckons
And the light ushers in
The day of the tiger

It's the beginning of the end if the recruiting tactics start to get investigated as a result of increased interest in supposed bias. If those get investigated, Bama will be vacating all of its wins since Saban joined them. Because they're recruiting tactics are shady as frick.

bama is the symbol/flagship product of the sec Network, which has a $3 billion contract with espn.

$3 billion. Unfortunately bama isn’t leaving the national picture even if they lose their edge on the field. Like another poster said, “follow the money”.

Flagships can be replaced. But only with collusion and revolution. There are certain powers that be that would fight tooth and nail to keep Bama the flagship.

Dabo will be their next coach so recruiting and winning will continue, unfortunately.

I dont think so, but I would be willing to bet the majority of the country is going to be pulling for LSU to take down the mighty Bama.

Michigan belongs in there.

Alabama has to come down at some point, so ready for Saban's retirement. He gets away with so much.

Bama has had the two greatest coaches in history. They’ll snag another when nick retires. It just means more. We hang billboards about suspended players. Their program wins. What a novel idea. No excuses.

You do not end an organized crime syndicate by embarrassing them. A few insults were hurled at them. No actual facts were exposed.
Bama will beat us by 21 and everything will quiet down again. LSU will lose its rage. Any continued efforts will be viewed as sour grapes.

Saban era will end it will be messy and the pipeline to Louisiana recruiting will dry up. They will still be good. But it wont be so personal to our fanbase.

In reality nothing lasts forever sonny boy so hang in there and wait your turn. There will be good days and some not so rewarding. Treat your favorite diversion from real life as what it is, a diversion.
