We just didn't make the plays - Rewatch Stream of Consciousness

Watching the replay.....Bama third possession on their own 10 and Baker comes untouched and just whiffs. Would have dropped them down inside the 5 and got some excitement going. We made that play all year. Next play we are offsides and gives them a short down. Without that we are returning a punt from mid-field. I know, if's and but's, point being it looked bad, but it was a razor difference once you watch it with a sound mind.

Another huge thing was the 2 false start penalties.
Can't afford to start a drive w/ 1 and 15 as bad as we were struggling on offense.

We just did so many out of character things, it is really strange. It just seems like every little thing went their way. They literally got a first down on that fake punt by 1/2 inch. Otherwise, we pick up momentum and have good field postion. Gosh, I would love for us to have a 3rd game to settle it.

we shot ourselves in the foot all game...Alabama gets too much credit for the win but whatever....they're the champs...for now.

By the way.....he was short on the fake FG. They gave him about 1/2 football. And 89 on the play was holding like crazy

Honestly other than the 2 or 3 downfield passes that Bama threw, their offensive gameplan wasn't much different than what WKU did to us
Easy underneath passes to the TE's rollouts where McCarron has a run/pass option. A couple of the passes he threw to the TE's were like 2 yd passes that resulted in 6-7+ yds.

Block the FG and first play is a false start by Hurst to put us at 1st and 15....just crazy. Should have been 3rd and 2 and it was 3rd an 7 instead. Ware drops the easy screen pass that would have gotten a first and kept the drive going.

Poor execution by the offense. We had Opportunities and didn't capitalize on them. We beat ourselves wasn't anything they done to beat us. Isn't that all we heard after 11/5 so the same thing can be said for 1/9

This is theraputic for me...sorry for the play by play. Barrett Jones just tackled Logan on 3rd and 6 allowed a 15 yr completion. It was blatant.

TR did absolutly nothing, which was the gameplan. AJ played the game of his life. Perfect defensive gameplan....AJ just made enough plays.

JJ was just in such a hurry. Literally looked like he was on speed. Skittish the whole time.

I agree. This most certainly would be the Bama approach. They didn't beat us, we beat ourselves.
