Many may remember my We are LSU! post from last February after the incessant whining about Saban to Bama and McKnight to USC. This is just another thing for the fans to panic over while Coach keeps the football team going on to victory after victory after victory.

ETA: Oh, and to the idiot Tulane fan. Just so we're clear - LSU is the ONLY university that matters in the State that was affected by Katrina and Rita. Yes, it hurt your city worse but in the grand scheme of college football, nobody really gives a rat's arse about Green Wave football

I nominate you to give that speech to the team in the locker room before the first game of the season, very well written my friend!

I don't think anyone asked if you would or if we could.

Is Tulane still admitting inbred morons with GEDs?

Well, from the OT the loons (schizophrenics) are getting free tickets to Jazz fest, so there are added benefits.

"I wouldn't play the katrina card."

Why not??? The PMAC was turned into a triage, and LSU faculty/students/athletes (not to mention Baton Rouge) played a key role in the recovery effort.......I believe LSU has every right to "play the katrina card"......New Orleans wasn't the ONLY area that suffered.

What about the Mississippi gulf coast? Can they have your permission to play the Katrina card, or do they have to wait for you to decide that Tulane can stop getting all the sympathy?

Damn thats pretty cold.

Great sermon.

The LSU Katrina experience plus the Arizona State game and the Peach bowl should be made into a book. Unfortunately, OSU vs Texas overshadowed the LSU-ASU game that night. But that was the night that LSU played for the state of LA.
