I moved to Dallas with my wife a couple of weeks back. She's a Baylor grad so it will be easy to catch her favorite team.

As an LSU guy, what are the best places in town to catch a game? I want a pro LSU crowd preferably.

IDK what the answer is, but I am looking for one too. Just gave up cable so I am going to be watching it at a bar somewhere.

Are you in Dallas proper or the Burbs?

Sherlock's on Walnut Hill is the usual go to LSU bar for football games. But you'll always be able to find LSU fans at pretty much any sports bar.

How are the drinks there? I assume the beer is well represented being a pub?

I've been in Dallas for the last 2 seasons. I live in Allen, but I've made it down to a few games at Sherlock's. They have huge LSU watch parties. I've gone to a few at the Quaker Steak and Lube in Frisco as well.

If you go to the lsu alumni Dallas website and sign up for the newsletter it will give you updates on watch parties, happy hours, the annual crawfish boil, etc.

A lot of LSU games are on ESPN or SEC network unless you just want to watch somewhere besides home. If the Tigers play as projected, you will probably be able to watch all of the games.

I will be there for the Miss State game. I'm hoping to find a watch party somewhere.

Yeah I would think it would be fairly easy to find a place. Outside of Baton Rouge, I think Dallas has the second largest LSU alumni base in the country.

Sherlocks on north park. Total tiger atmosphere. I live in New Orleans now and I miss it.
