Truth. WTF was up with the defensive delay of game for clapping? I've never seen that called and they called it like 3 times. Also Smith's missed facemask was a definite gift.

Did we ever see a picture of his hand grab of the facemask? With no more 5 yard FM calls, they have to do more than a swipe.

Dont recall them showing it on the broadcast -- with as much as the announcers complained, I assumed it was obviously on camera, but I didn't catch it.

crew was bad on both sides of the ball for both teams. Universally bad!

What about the rule about the FG? Lets say that's the end of the game, and that FG make or miss, decides the outcome. They can't review that?!?! What a garbage rule.

you failed to mention the missed hold in the 3rd & 9 where Mizzou QB scrambled and picked up the first down.

or the late hit on Jayden in the endzone on a TD run where they called the ticky-tack hold on Pimpton but missed the blatant shot to Jayden's back after he had already scored.

Forward progress was ruled to be stopped so can’t overturn that unfortunately. Overall wasn’t a banner day for officiating with the crew.

I saw it on the replay. game speed I thought Maason swiped the jersey underneath the facemask, but on the replay he definitely swiped the facemask.

not true, any contact to the facemask can warrant a flag and even an incidental fasemask gets 15 yards now. they took away the 5-yard penalty and made them all 15 essentially.

The Daniels TD was a hilariously bad spot

The way they were calling the defensive delay of game penalties is a pretty good indicator that their priorities were out of whack.

Bad calls in every aspect of that game

Jayden was legitimately 2 yards into the endzone

Jayden then rolls off the pile about 5 yards into the endzone

you are correct that he was VERY obviously in the end zone, but you are a horrible judge of distances.

I mean he's a foot or so in the first pic.
2nd pic is closer to 2 or 3 yards.

5 yards would be dead center of the end zone.

That would be refs. Several should have made that call. Also how the replay official doesn't step in on the Daniels sneak where his entire body is in the end zone is every bit as bad as the line judge blowing it. LSU was not really hurrying at the LOS to run a play, it was about twenty seconds after the play before they ran the next one, leaving the replay official plenty of time to stop and review on such an obvious miss that both announcers noted before the next play ran . I hope LSU is seeking answers.

That was bad too.

I know the rule regards clapping, but on at least one occasion it was a linebacker basically punching his hand to get one of the safeties attention and get him down in the box, not making disconcerting signals.

Unbelievably bad call there. The Alatrash player was literally picking up the O Lineman's leg. He simply pushed him off to avoid falling back.

I've been watching college football since 1949 and this has to rank as about the worst I've ever witnessed.

I bet you the SEC refs have standing orders to blow the play “dead” early on the Tush Push / Brotherly Shove play.

Officials hate it because it’s a loophole to the assisting the runner penalty.

Everyone make a mental note, when it's late in the season, or possibly years later, that Missouri and MissSt games were GD trainwrecks for officiating. MissSt game, they shaved 10 points off JD5 and the boys. This one... idk, what you guys think point-wise?
