LSU's first quarterback sneak in the first quarter, Jayden was legitimately 2 yards into the endzone on top of bodies when the NEAR side official (who had a perfect view) came running in to blow the play dead at the goal line.

Jayden then rolls off the pile about 5 yards into the endzone. Like it wasn't even close.

Then the missed false start on Mizzou's goal line TD. I mean this is what our front looked like when the ball was snapped

Mason Taylor reaching about a half yard shy of the first down on a 3rd down to start the second quarter. If this is properly spotted, we likely go for it (and get it)

But marked 3 yards short?

Something needs to be done about that crew. It's really inexcusable stuff for an SEC game.

Yes. There was a lot more missed/bad calls than what you posted. On both sides I might add

I'd like to know what that ref is thinking about on that false start,

It was pretty bad. How the heck do you not call a touchdown when the entire offense is in the end zone? I mean literally all 11 guys. There’s no fumble ruled so….. ?????

However, the worst call I can think of will always be the Patrick Peterson non-interception. I’ll never change my mind about that. Two hands on the ball, two feet in bounds.

But the more I think about it, as far as an entire game is concerned, this crew was so bad.

The hold on their qb run on 3rd down was one of the worst holding non calls I've seen in a while. Their oline was literally behind the player and still engaged.

That phantom holding call on the play JD got late hit in the end zone was also pretty bad. I was waiting for a flag when Burns had that pick 6 to cover the spread. I think it happened so fast that they didn't have time to make anything up

Thanks for posting. I've been looking for the angle of that non JD5 TD.

He was clearly in, but here’s what I don’t understand: why go fast there? Let them buzz down and review. It would have been overturned.

I thought Mizzou had a face mask called on them that play

Yes , I felt that LSU was playing against two teams at once. And for a while I was pulling for one of our players to take out a few refs in order to get their attention.

Really nice screen shots. The TD was the one where I couldn’t understand why we didn’t challenge. I think we must have thought - ‘oh well, we’ll just punch it in again’….

Missed call, yes but we should have initiated contact vs point at the dude on the false start.

There were so many more and the ‘no calls’:
- JDs TD with the late unsportsmanlike hit that took him out of the game
- The non-hold called a hold from the play just above.
- The many many obvious Mizzou holds that we saw right on camera.

We could go on and on and on….

That deep pass at the end of Auburn game in 2006 gets it for me. Clear as day pass interference.

Also, there was a late personal foul in an Alabama game on one of our offensive lineman that was complete horseshite and cost us the game.

I haven't seen worse officiating since the 2003 national Championship b/w Miami & Ohio State. SO frickin bad.

We’ve done this a few times in goal line situations. It puts the coach in a shitty spot (no pun intended) because you don’t want to give the defense time to regroup, catch their breath, etc. when it’s 2nd or 3rd & inches. You also don’t have the video board operator giving the entire stadium an immediate second look when you’re playing in the road.

At the same time, you aren’t guaranteed to get in by going fast (as we’ve seen) so I hope we start giving the “booth” a little more time in that situation.

I bet the officiating crew would have said some bullshite like forward progress stopped at the 1 inch yd line, thus usurping the booth from being able to take over. It was a completely incompetent and inept crew. Never have I seen a QB a full 2 yards across with all 10 of his teammates downhill and this shite happens in a D1 game.

That crew is notoriously bad. I remember they called 40 penalties in the Tennessee-Bama game last year. It’s not just a one off game. Think we need to investigate more

At least it wasn't completely lopsided Auburn 2006 bad. They were just unbelievably incompetent.

Worst I've seen in an LSU game in my lifetime. And it impacted both sides.
