While Jackson wasn't horrid, he was definitely weakest link. I was curious why Toliver wasn't starting over him as well

Jackson was not horrid. He was our worst db but that doesnt make him horrid. He had trouble turning and finding the ball but that comes with experience. The kid is a true sophomore and in a new system. Can we give him 3 years before we start shitting on him?

Jackson was high risk but he also made a ton of plays out there.

I would give him a C+ on the year. Not horrid

Apparently, Toliver has an inability to turn his head back to see the ball....

And given that he is a true sophomore that has had to learn 2 different schemes he has held his own. I expect a good junior season out of him next year.

Jackson played great until the Florida game. Go back and watch the plays he was making in the Bama game. He has 2 PI one game and guys up a td one game and he isn't any good.

I bet he graded very high on the year.

I think that Jackson can be effective on certain type of receivers...he might could also be used some on offense...

Have you seen him on special teams? He's fast as lightning, but he has no awareness on how to set up blockers or use his team mates to create open space. I'll pass on giving him offensive touches.

He was an above average CB for LSU this year. The expectations are just so high that because he gave up 10 points against Florida the narrative changed to "he's horrid".

I hope Toliver can get out of the dog house. He played very well his freshman year and I wonder what it is with Coach O that's keeping him on the sideline. I still fully expect him to be a starter next season.

Tolliver, Jackson and Parish (sp) were my hopes of an '11 type team. Perhaps one more year under Aranda.

Coach O has stated many times he does not tinker with his assistants and let's them make the calls. So perhaps he is in hot water with Coach A and not Coach O.
