Your book is wrong. A sack is a running play in the stats.

There is no maybe about it. There was no pick 6.

7/19, no passing TDs, an interception, and 29 of his 82 passing yards came off an insane catch by Beckham.

Yes, he was that bad

Does the NCAA go by your book for stats? He didn't gave a good passing day...you don't need to exaggerate the stats.

Now, the pic 6 that wasn't, I hear you on that.

Lets just say. I'm not sure any of the other backups could have been worse.

I hope this was a good learning experience for him.

But being honest...I hope he turns out to be as good as Conner Shaw.

He looked like a true freshman playing in his first start in a bowl games with bad weather.

Those are the reasons he played bad. That does not detract from the fact that he, in fact, played bad.

I'm sure he will get alot better. But to deny that he played bad is just stupid.

He was a dual threat qb that never left the pocket

that god. as long as we were winning he didn't have to. just imagine if he would have been hurt, esp early in the game. one never plays loosly with the back up qb. 3rd stringer usually can't even hold his own much less win a game for you.

Russian, "officially" maybe it wasn't, but same result

Well, as long as we are making things up, he was held on the play and obviously would have made the tackle.

Backup might've only thrown for 75 yards and LSU might've lost.

I wasn't trying to exaggerate his "bad day", "1st start", "Frosh" outing. I counted Mett sacks against him too, folding instead of getting rid of it or getting up field. It's not like he was under tremendous pressure, just bad passing play decisions. So glad we run so well.

He ran 23 passing plays and had 7 completions, NCAA stats or not, I don't really care

I thought he won the Heisman. People wanted Jennings over Mett. Oh well better pack it in. fricking idiots. Mett will be the best qb in this class when its all over. Go ahead and take bridge water, manziel and bartles, Mett will out last all of them.

And Jordan played like a Heisman qb in his first bowl game.

It's "cue."

And why wait on it. The kid is 19 years old, making his first collegiate start in a bowl game..... No, no pressure on him.

Maybe you could do a better job on your first start?

much better opinion than OMG A FRESHMAN QB STRUGGLED IN HIS FIRST START AGAINST A TOP 10 DEFENSE AWAY FROM HOME!!!!!

Crazy how some QBs tend to improve with playing time (like Mett).
