Just heard a guy on talk radio mention that. It's a interesting question. Everybody loves fournette. But Clyde may have been better.

Fournette was better. Fournette was our offense.

He’s very talented but I think this offense just fit Clyde so much better. If we’re talking pure talent I’ll take Buga and Guice over CEH

This is pretty much true, but Clyde out performed both of them by a good bit against Bama. Not sure if Guice or Fournette would have made the big plays Clyde did.

Imagine Leonard Fournette in last years offense. Holy shite.

I don't think you can compare any past player to the offense we had last season. It just isn't fair. Think about the atrocious offenses that the studs recruited by LSU had to play through.

Depends on what you want from your RB. Clyde was excellent in the pass game and ran the RPO well, probably better than LF and DG.

But I would put either of those guys over Clyde in a primary power run offense

I think odell would've had 2k yds receiving in this offense.

I can't say enough good things about CEH and he had an amazing year, but I think Guice would have absolutely killed in last year's offense.

Skill wise, no. Efficiency..possibly. But if you would have put LF7 or Jeremy hill or guice on last years team...my god

Obviously LF7 is the more gifted human, but I'll take CEH. LF7s games vs bama just kill it for me and CEH performed the best when it mattered most. Give me more burst, more explosiveness, more shiftiness, and more heart any day.

Clyde was a perfect fit for this offense and just an overall great kid...his parents did a great job raising him and he went to a great high school...
I'm not sure why any really good offensive player went to LSU and played for les...he should have changed his offense after the national championship loss to bama..he never recovered from that loss career wise and it cost him his job...

I’m more curious how good Guice would have been in that offense rather than Fournette.

Fournette would have been a beast, but Guice’s ability to catch the ball out of the backfield would have been an added plus like CEH.

I will 100% assure you, if we had a wide open offense anytime they played Bama, they would have been great. Plus, Bama has changed their defense since those days.
