I guess ESPN doesn't lend out its best commentators at 11 AM

"5th string quarterback"
"5th string quarterback"
"5th string quarterback"

He was positively giddy when Cuse had a good play.

The Cuse back was "Fournetteesque" every time he broke a tackle.

"LSU should keep running the ball no matter how many defenders are in the box."

Two minutes later, "Syracuse is loading up to stop the run, LSU has to complete some passes."

"Don't worry about a pitch count. Give Fournette the ball as often as possible."

Two minutes later, "Why is Fournette still in the game at this point?"

Could've been Pam Ward or worse.

He's not the best but he's ok.

ETA: After reading Jim's post, I retract ^that. He is pretty bad.

That did get annoying.

Even his play by play man kind of called him out about managing LF Sunday to Friday and letting him go on sat. I don't think Brock liked it.
" yeah but now the outcome is not in question' which of course was not a limitation he mentioned originally. Sheesh!

It was unbearable. I muted it and put the LSU broadcast on.

I thought his analysis was pretty good

ETA; Comparing SU guys to fournette when they broke a tackle was silly

Half of ESPN went to Syracuse and it was pretty obvious.

I wasn't hating.

Nothing especially good, but I've heard worse.

The whole 'Cuse player doing a "Fournette" was actually funny. There's a rift in the booth.

You can't pick up 870 in Mississippi?

The play-by-play guy said that one time and Huard thought he was crazy. Huard made one "Fournettesque" comment after that to make fun of his partner.

They almost creamed their pants whenever the walk on completed the first pass of the game for 5 yards

"COMPLETE!! THE WALK ON!!"
