I just love how so many of you think this is a big deal
Everyone just needs to lighten up! It's just college kids having a good time, and they say a couple of curse words, so what?!

No one is making it "a big deal" outside of the context at hand. It is a big deal in relation to whether or not the song will get played in the future or not and the manner in which it presents the university and stadium environment. No one is calling for lashings or beheadings.
It's too bad too, because I think most people consider Neck to be an awesome stadium song.

Ronnie Rantz looked like a ticked of old man after a kid cut across his lawn.

I honestly don't see the problem. This is the song that gets the entire stadium rockin. Who cares what the students chant? Is it because it is offensive to people who bring their kids? I bring my daughter and I could care less. As parents you tell your kids what they can and cannot say. I say let it rain.

Again, I've beaten this argument into the ground. They are drunk 18-20 year olds. You really think they give a shite about being classy?
I can promise you that you didn't either when you were their age.

Why aren't more people up in arms that the University allows B*tch I'm from Louisiana? Yes it is edited, be we all know the real song.
I, for one, am for whatever gets the players and students hyped up. If letting everyone in the stadium and people watching on CBS know that you can suck their tiger d*ck gets them pumped, then so be it.

THIS.
I love how a lot of the people complaining about the chant had no problem chanting things like "What comes out of a Chinaman's arse? Rice! Rice! Rice!" during their time at LSU.

Trashy pieces of shite...every single one of them and I hope they stay the hell away from the basketball program as they start to have success.
Way to lump us all together dickwad. STTDB is really stupid IMO and needs to go. But I remember looking around during the chant, and I'd probably guess that's it's maybe 1 out of every 5 or 10 students who is STTDB(ing?). Far from even the majority. You just heard the minority who was participating.
But with all the over-generalizations on this board, it's hard not to want to piss people like you off even further. S.T.T.D.B. and GTFO

I'll take a shot and say because:

Maybe I'm crazy but I'm thinking the administration wouldn't have much of a problem with the phrase STTDB if it didn't include the S, D, and B

You obviously couldn't care less about your education.

That video made it sound much louder then it was in section 214. It was audible, but nothing like that.

You can't even make out what is being said unless you know beforehand and are listening for it.

I'm not mad at the retard students for saying STTDB.
I'm mat at them for not knowing when to sing in the song. There's a break where the trumpets play and they kept on singing over it.

Honestly, this really frustrates me too. I don't understand how so many people don't have any sense of rhythm
