I've tried to stay neutral but this is getting fricking ridiculous. In my years at LSU and tigerland I have seen much worse. Only because football players are involved is this an issue. Somebody couldn't keep track of thier women and was butt hurt when she was giving her attention to the football team. Somebody in the police dept is trying to make a name for themselves. A search warrant for a bar fight? Nobody spent even an entire night in the hospital?

Will the BRPD be collecting as much evidence for all the bar fights that have taken place since shady's?
Hmmmm

Either this or a pair in each bag. However it can't be mixed together.

Based on the way the police officer/investigator was carrying them, it seems like they had clothes or shoes or something light in them.

Question, if JJ or any teammate that was there texted something like "hey JJ just beat the shite out of some guy" would that be enough for him to be arrested? it just seems like that would be a big possibility and with as much as the police are digging i'd assume they would find that. why is this being blown out of proportion so much?!

Heard Saban just made a huge donation to the Policeman's Ball.

Um ..Pretty sure anyone with any sense wouldnt text something that stupid knowing it could be seen by the po-po.

It would be interesting if someone could find out how many search warrants have been issued due to bar fights in East Baton Rouge Parish.

It's a good thing you don't have an in state rival.

If you shared a state with Auburn, there would be booger eating dorks zooming in on that fancy mustang license plate and running checks to see who paid for it.

Just jokes guys.... just trying to lighten things up in this thread.

I am glad most of you guys are not the ones in charge of the legal system. "Just a bar fight"....broken vertebrae and beaten unconcious goes beyond "Just a bar fight".

broken lumbar vertebrae isn't a serious injury. it's the equivalent of broken ribs, and probably less painful.

not a single person was beaten unconscious, either, as far as i have found.

yeah it sounds bad. if they can't prove who started it then how can someone get in more trouble just for winning the fight? if a marine messes with you at a bar and it turns into a fight why would you get in more trouble if you won the fight going away? words can't describe how stupid it was for JJ and the rest to be involved in this but at the end of the day it was a bar fight and they shouldn't be hung for it. it just seems people are digging for something that isn't there.

Edt...i realize the marine didn't start it but somebody did.

The chest bump was in bad taste whether innocent or guilty. Silly shenanigans probably instigated by the bow-tie-wearing defense lawyer...

Miles/LSU are going to hell and back this week and these clowns are chest-bumping for Tiger TV...

if all the bar fights were treated like this, we would fore sure have the highest crime rate in the country

After watching that video of the kid getting punted in the face, i don't know how anyone has the audacity to say this is a waste of police resources.

It's a huge fricking waste of police resources.

I don't know where you saw someone "punted" in the face. All I saw on that video was 1 half assed kick.

I've seen much worse bar fights where people went to the hospital in ambulances and couldn't crawl out of bed for days. No charges, piss ant charges, and never anything like this.

This has gotten out of hand because someone at the BRPD is afraid of being accused of playing favorites and ignoring misconduct by the football team.

It looks like they took everything JJ owned over a damn bar fight. This is beyond crazy. BR residents should be very upset at how this is being handled by BRPD

I think I saw a BRPD squad car headed to Vegas to sell some LSU football paraphernalia.
