LSU is always a second-half team. If we're only down by 10 at the half, we're far from out of it.

We were down by 20 in the first quarter and showed we werent out of it at the beginning of the third, but then we quickly fell apart after that

The really sad thing is, after that last drive of the first half and the first drive of the second half, I actually thought we had a shot at winning the game.... By the third quarter I was crying.

I was at that game. It wasn't quiet at all. There was an "oh shite" feel, but it was far from quiet.

It wasn't quiet at all before the announcement of the score. It was at an 8 and the USC score kicked it up to 11.

You must have sitting in the section of pussies where all the legislators and rich folks sit. That section is always quiet relative to the rest of the stadium.

He is right. I was at the Georgia and Ole Miss games last season and it was silent from the get go. And like SloFlow just said, I was also at the Florida game in 2007 and somebody about seven rows behind me was telling his wife USC lost to Stanford and everybody in the section heard him.

That stupid Urban quote just became Gameday sign fodder.

"Tiger Stadium quiets down when Urban loses his hearing"
"That low pitched throbbing in Meyer's ears isn't Tiger Stadium. It's hearing loss."

Would be nice if TS officials would ease up on their childish alcohol policy just for one game...maybe unofficially not enforce the rules so we get a rowdier crowd?

Was it during one of the 100 TV timeouts that CBS takes, because I can understand that. Even I was quiet during the timeouts. It was loud as frick during the game.

very well have some truth therein but this much I do know, when Mr. Tebow departs the Swamp it likewise will quiet to a hush AND Urban will not be there to hear it as mark this down...he will leave UFlorida at the close of this season
