I'm guessing they don't give a shite if he has kids, so are they concerned that if the kid is his he pulled a pre-emptive Rae Carruth and made sure she couldn't come after his money?

I can only remember one girlfriend of La'El and this isn't one of them. Maybe they were together at some other point that I didn't know of.

Collins isnt even remotely considered in this. They simply are contacting everyone who knew the victim. Read the story. She was killed when people came to her apt to "borrow" her car and she refused to let them borrow it
