I swear 95% of commentators and media pronounce his first name Tyrone. I always find it funny when a player is talked about being an All-American type player on a broadcast and the announcer completely botches his name repeatedly. The worst that absolutely made me cringe was listening to all the different pronunciations of Theriot during the 2000 CWS. The only announcer I've ever heard that's always on point was Ron Franklin, who I also put up there with Jim Nance as people I would love to have narrate my life.
