Am I the only one questioning the 5 hit batters tonight? It was at least 3 or 4 different pitchers.

I think it has more to do with their staff having no command

No their pitchers just had no control

I just find it pretty coincidental that one of the better pitching teams in the country, hits 5 batters. You would assume their control would be better than that

Midweek pitching. Those guys had consistency issues

Coming into the game they had hit 28 batters this year. For reference, LSU was at 19. Pretty big gap in such few games.

Friday guy or a stud closer sure I'd question it. Midweek no way-you're throwing your depth pitchers that game, kids trying to get a weekend pen job.

I saw it this way too. Nothing intentional.

Pathetic control issues...

Hoping Scivicque will be ok for Kentucky; wearing ice pack near his elbow & Bregman took a nice shot to the lower ribs...Foster's foot should be ok but still stings...

Thanks for the input fellas. I was getting pretty aggravated watching it happen. Glad to know it appears the other way around.

I don't think they were doing it on purpose. If they had been aiming for our batters they would not have hit them so often.

Was there.

None were remotely intentional

The funny thing is, Tulane's pitching has actually been decent this year, hence why they are doing well in their conference so far.
