Stop with the Groza watch list comments, nearly every returning kicker makes it.

watch list looks to be about 30so a little more exclusive then we are making it out to be.

It is what is I trust the coaches, and I wish Domingue luck. I really enjoyed seeing that Florida touchdown.

I thought Les was loyal to seniors, wouldn't play the best player because of loyalty to upperclassmen.

I guess the narrative changes depending on the issue.

Feel bad for the kid, but:

he can go anywhere immediately.
he's already graduated.
he's been passed up on the team for the starting spot.
he was initially a walk on, got his scholly for one year after earning a spot with no guarantee for multiple years.

It's not like he hasn't had his free education.

with that said, our staff should have known not to give out that many kicker scholarships. It's mind blowing how many Miles throws out there.

So that makes him a terrible person? It's not like he had violence issues or run-ins with the law.

You're mad about who was picked and you're using Les' integrity as a scapegoat.

LOL at the outrage over a degreed #2 PK losing scholly.
Pretty sure bet they wanted him benched after only making 3 of his last 7 attempts.

I mean really, how excited are y'all that the Tigers had to process someone. A problem that has typically been reserved for the tide. And an obviously backhanded way of saying, the team is full of talent.

Maurice clarett

Another solid guess, but still quite different. Clarett was the subject of an academic misconduct investigation, then was suspended after being charged with filing a false police report, in which he claimed he'd had thousands of dollars worth of whatever stolen from him. Then, after he'd been suspended, he was accused of having accepted ~$30K worth of benefits/goods, a pretty heinous NCAA violation that undoubtedly would've resulted in the loss of his amateur status.

Like Moss, Clarett is a solid guess, but not on the level of dismissing a heisman candidate weeks before his junior season, despite having not been under investigation or charged by law enforcement, the NCAA, or the SEC.

The point here is not that Miles is the world's most stand-up guy or anything, but he does deserve some credit for letting his players get away with less than other schools. *cough* Baylor rapes, Winston at FSU, CRob & Hootie at bama, Manziel at A&M, etc., etc., etc.

Given that Domingue didn't make his announcement in a tone that suggests he got completely fricked over, I'm willing to give CLM and LSU the benefit of the doubt that this situation isn't some grave injustice.

Also, anyone who uses the term "processed" in this regard, is a total douche.

That's the point I'm making--Mathieu's dismissal was relatively anomalous.

Nonsense, it's another instance of oppression by authority. #PKLM.

Miles says he told Domingue to wait before deciding to leave. LM thought he could get him a scholly by August. #LSU

My apologies. I didn't read the entire string. I deserve many down votes.

And you get sincere props for using the word "anomalous."

I didn't call him a terrible person. It's just a bad precedent to set to remove a scholarship from a player that has done everything right to give it to a guy you kicked off the team recently. If that is indeed who is taking his scholarship.

Anyone who thinks LSU doesn't "process" players is naive. Perhaps we don't process as many as some other programs but it happens on a regular basis.
