With Texas coming into the SEC, Jimbo knows the situation in College Station is not sustainable long-term. Both Schools have a shite ton of money, but Texas runs the state see Texas Permanent University Fund(oil royalties). Texas gets the lion's share and always will.

Freeze and Fleck would both win against a Napier coached team. Fleck has no ties to the South, so I would take Freeze in heartbeat. He just has too much baggage IMO

With all due respect.... I have no idea where these types of fans are. I wore a purple shirt to a UL tailgate and game one time because I didn’t own any UL gear. I was berated nonstop. If I have a bias then trust me it’s valid based on experience.

Weird Louisville fans treated you like that they aren’t even conference rivals

so because he is smart you want him as HC, despite the fact he has run Baylor into the ground. A baylor program that was rolling before he got there?

wtf are you talking about? You people make all these excuses for Orgeron for 2020 but don’t apply the same reasoning to any other coach/team it’s hysterical.

PJ Fleck would be a much better hire than Napier.

No one established wanted the job after Miles was fired so O got it. Less of an attractive job now except for someone looking to jump up from a lower position. No proven winning power 5 coach will leave for this job. And anyone ignorant and delusional enough to think Dabo or Saban would pick up the phone or entertain an offer needs serious help.

Dabo! Give him an offer he can’t refuse like A&M did to Jimbo.

Initially, Yep, he's proven it on a bigger stage.

Pj fleck would be an interesting hire.

I wouldn't be mad at it. He was a wide receiver coach much of his career. He would get on the field with cleats and mix it up with the receivers.

Fleck seems very organized. I want an anal organized coach.

My biggest worry with Fleck is that he did elevate Minnesota's recruiting a bit, it wasn't much. He was considered an elite recruiter at Western, so maybe it's just Minnesota.

Dabo would be he home run hire. I think he would instantly have LSU in contention and his recruiting is well known, and consistent with what we want.

Again, IF he has a good season, yes. And because he was great DC for us for 4 years.

Huh? Rhules first season they 1-11. Then 7-6 in 2018, then in 2019 went 11-3 without beating a ranked opponent. Rhule leaves for NFL then the pandemic happens. Not a great situation for a first time head coach to succeed.

But my bad, I should've mentioned one of those coaches from that list that have never coached a snap of football in the south.

Or maybe Jon Gruden. It's not an LSU coaching search until we mention Gruden.

Sorry, we moved on from Gruden and we are currently in negotiations with Jack Del Rio - don’t shoot the messenger.
