Meyer had no ties to the south before Florida.

I think Napier's run schemes would do well at LSU / any P5 program. Haven't seen enough of the passing game to pass judgment on it.

Freeze averaged 5 losses a season at Ole Miss. he had one 10 win season.

Lane Kiffen would be my number 1 choice, i was really impress with Ole Miss the other night. We know he is a great player caller and runs a sophisticated offense. He has also gain a lot of experience since his days at Tennesee. He understands the SEC and with the talent at LSU, i believe he is the one guy that would give Saban fits.

Napier is my 2nd choice
Bob Stoops would be my 3rd.

Yeah OK

Dabo is young and Saban is gonna be worse than Paterno on retiring

No one established wanted the job after Miles was fired so O got it. Less of an attractive job now except for someone looking to jump up from a lower position. No proven winning power 5 coach will leave for this job. And anyone ignorant and delusional enough to think Dabo or Saban would pick up the phone or entertain an offer needs serious help.

Jimbo wanted it until politics ruined that.

Different AD now. He doesn't get his feelings hurt like Alleva and he can close better.

Of course Saban wouldn't leave Bama though.

My memory isn't the best, but didn't he take over a winless program? That is just how horrific Ole Miss was. Nutt ran that program beyond the ground.

Looks like they had 2 wins vacated, but they were a really bad program.

So you would have wanted Jimbo? Yes it’s an improvement over what we have now but no thank you.

Woody will definitely go after Jimbo (no buyout if i’m not mistaken) and Lane first because that’s his MO. I think Napier would be third on the list.

I agree. I dont think Jimbo would leave aTm. Kiffin would be the best hire..

There is a lot of risk, but what home run is out there that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg and would take the job?

So after paying Orgeron $6+ million a year and having one of the biggest salary pools in CFB, and paying O an 8 figure buyout, LSU should try and get a deal on the next coach?

As a Texans season ticket holder, I would get rid of my LSU tickets I’ve had since 1975. BOB is the absolute WORSE POS COACH THAT WALKS THE FACE OF THIS EARTH.

1. Dabo - Pipe dream
2. Kiffin
3. Freeze

If we can hire a coach that can compete for the Natty every year and have a chance at beating Bama then I don’t think anyone would bat an eye at Kiffin or Freeze.
