I watched yalls games. And yes you were very fortunate not to be in the losers bracket after the first game. I do give you credit for taking advantage of misplays by Rice and Houston, but it doesnt really change the fact that ULL will be very outclassed in talent.

Like i said, ULL is probably the worst team left in this tournament (can make an argument over VCU i guess) and that's not even really an insult.

And none of it means ULL cant win, i just think its highly unlikely. And i think it's much more likely LSU cruises to 2 easy wins than for the series to go 3 games.

Fortunate to slip by Houston after being no-hit? I guess you just completely disregard our pitching and defense that held it to a 1-0 game for 9 innings, which allowed us to have a chance in the bottom of the 9th?

I watched the game. Your pitching did great and kept you in the game. Where did I say otherwise? But it is fortunate to win when you don't get a hit for 8 innings.

Oh and we were "fortunate" to get Rice after they had played 20 innings the night before. Guess who sent Rice to the loser's bracket? The Cajuns.

It's hilarious how people can just discredit what a team has done when they didn't even watch the games.

Again, I watched the game. It was absolutely fortunate for ULL to have the winner of the Houston-Rice game play 20 innings.

You Cajun fans get so defensive about nothing

A top 15 scoring team in the nation comes to the box and gets shut out....twice. And some people think ULL has a chance???

I'll hang up and listen.

ETA: and don't say anything about LSU only scoring 4 total against UNCW. Thier pitching staff is lightyears better then ULL's

Just looking at the box scores tells me ULL didn't score 16 runs in 3 games.

They had 2 hits in their regional winner... I get that we shouldn't be too overconfident because its baseball, but come on

You're right. I meant 14 runs on only 16 hits.

That is pretty impressive, but it also tells me that the cajuns had a lot of things go their way.

Rice's incompetence in the ninth inning Friday sent Rice into the loser's bracket.

LSU wins in two
UNCW is a better team with better arms than ULL will run out there
I think this past weekend with all the delays and getting over that hump from last year is what LSU needed.
Bats will explode this weekend and weather looks promising as well.

I watched that Houston lefty make ULL his personal bitch for 7 2/3 innings. And if not for a little help from a blown call by the home plate ump that gave your hitter a second chance, he goes into the 9th with a no-hitter intact.

You're not always going to be able to count on that kind of luck.

So we took advantage of their mistakes. And we didn't make any such mistakes. Seems like the better overall team performance won the game.
