In reading the posts of a lot Tiger fans on this site and other sites, they all assume LSU will just walk and blow UL-Lafayette out in two games, While I think LSU will win, I also believe it will be a close and competitive series.

The Cajuns are playing their best baseball of the year, and are a very dangerous opponent. LSU will have to be at the top of their game to come away with this series. It is possible this series could go 3 games. This is a young and confident, well-coached opponent coming to Alex Box Stadium this weekend.

LSU is also confident and well-coached, which makes for an exciting series. LSU would have been better served facing Houston or Rice. Don't get too overconfident.

I can assume whatever I want and it will have no effect on the game.

I think you're analysis is wrong.

Any posters in the know, have been saying that it will be tough as ULL has been hot lately.

You're thread really serves no point.

We're doomed!

If the fans aren't focused how ever will the team win?!

They just hit .184 in their Regional. They have no chance at beating LSU while only hitting .184.

You're right. Overconfidence in the stands is the number one predictor of outcome on the field.

i give ULL credit for getting it done but they really didnt look good in that regional. Pulled a rabbits foot out of their arse. Wins are wins but ULL is either 15th or dead last in talent in the clubs left in this tournament. LSU should win the first two and be on their way to Omaha.

On paper, with the exception of VCU, this is the best possible scenario for LSU.

Nobody can roll out of bed and win a super regional. However, this is about as easy as it gets.

UNCW was a much better team than UL-L for example.

In baseball the margin of separation isn't always that great and very good teams can slump. I'm confident LSU will win, but I think lesser opponents always stand a chance of getting hot.

And with the way VCU played this weekend vs the way ULL played, i'd say we have the best draw to get there.

I don't expect Lange to throw a third straight gem, but I think 4 or 5 runs should win both games.
