Toliver tells LSU Sports Information officials that he was trying to break up the fight.

Toliver, the senior from Hempstead, Texas, is expected to be a leader on this year's squad and Bonnette was quick to point out that Toliver has had no off-the-field problems during his collegiate career.

None of the three men involved were booked into parish prison.

With this in mind, I don't know how much to make of this. I'll wait for this story to develop a bit more.

well, i guess he could have sexually assaulted or manipulated two females. No one really cares about that.

I read through that thread. It doesn't really establish anything. Anyone who does seem to have an indication of what happened is incredibly vague.

Harvey William's nephew?

Interesting that Bonnette would point to "no previous incident," instead of letting the HC handle the comments.

Since WHEN is a SID making excuses and comments for the football team? Miles allows Bonnette to speak for him?

Sheesh.....that sounds "totally out of place." I believe that T. Tolliver is a good kid, don't get me wrong. But for the SID to comment, like the nervous lawyer on SNL, is ridiculous.

Toliver has never had his name mentioned in connection to off-field issues in his four years. The fact that the details on this are murky at best and that no one was formally arrested force me to consider that no action whatsoever will be taken.
