I have no doubt the front seven is talented but O is clearly concerned with pass protection. He specifically singled it out.

10 sacks is absurd no matter what the front seven looks like.

ArandaEffect or the more logical explanation of the line just not being that good at pass protection right now. I'll put my money on the latter.

I don't think he specified if it was for just the 1v1 or whatever. It could be a combination from both teams.

Probably need to keep in mind that Etling and Brennan aren't live, so take that stat with a grain of salt.

I'll reserve judgement until the season plays out.

Really concerned with pass protection. If it's not good it's going to be hell, for anyone we have at QB.

We need to go after Texas A@m offensive line coach. Great recruiter and always seems to have All-american left tackles year after year.

I'll reserve judgement until later also but this is obviously a problem. I heard about pass pro being bad last night on sports talk on wwl.

O said there might have been 10 sacks today. Pass pro sounds like a shite show.

Or the DL is outstanding? You're playing yourselves. If one side does "well" the other side played "poorly". I don't get worked up over scrimmage stats. LSU's OL probably isn't going to play many better DL's than the one on their own team.

Calm down bro, they're not tackling the quarterbacks, so it's much easier to get "sacks". Also, as someone else pointed out, we have no context about whether all 10 were for the first team defense or if it was 10 total, for both teams.

Brennan threw a TD to J. Jefferson.

Jacoby showed good hands. WR's as a whole inconsistent.

Regardless of who was quarterbacking, the fact that we threw 44 passes versus 50 runs is a Good sign for the offense.

I am perfectly calm. Just pointing out if there would have been 10 legit sacks, that speaks far more about our o line than our d

Unless I heard wrong, Pretty sure he clarified that most of the sacks were given up by second team O line.

O will soon name a QB starter, Lowell and Brennan will both play some this year

This is pretty discouraging. I wish for just one year we could know for sure that this guy is our guy. From beginning to end of the season. Mettenberger 2013 is the only QB I can even remotely remember in the last 10 years where that was the case

I was present the RB's were by far the most impressive position group. DE clearly the starter MB clearly #2.

Sacks were called for pretty much "one hand touch anywhere".
