i've never ball-hawk like this guy before. only player that comes to mind is Troy Palamalu.

Even that comparison on the college level is weak. HB7 is the best player at his age I have ever seen on defense.

Scott Van Pelt called him Honey Badger on ESPN Radio today. I started thread about it at lunch. So it is gaining national traction and TM better get used to it. Once ESPN starts something, they never let go. Ask The Hat...

Trash talk and taunting are different. He took it too far and so did WVU.

I'm not old, and I'm not a moron. Your immaturity is showing.

I agree with this. I am old, but I am not a moron. If this BS results in a penalty at a crucial time, most will change their tune.

"Are you worried about the yards you gave up"

"Did yall blitz enough? It didn't look like yall did

I have to say that he sounds way more well spoken than his twitter messages suggest.

Trash talking is fine, but the camp I've always sat in is that if you talk trash you better be prepared to take a fair amount of flack when/if you screw up. Can't walk around saying your the best and then not back it up.

For a 19 year old in front of media like that, yes.

What's wrong with the trash talk? Deion Did it, Jordan Did it, Kobe Does it, it's apart of the game. fear me-Tm7

Multiple-time Champions can do it.

Kobe and Jordan talked trash. They didn't taunt. They were comfortable enough with their greatness to not have to taunt.

Deion showboated. Different than taunting.

I love TM7 but could do without the taunting. The showboating is cool if you are winning. Trash talking is fine if you are backing it up. The best know they are the best.

I'm sure it was probably a little more "ripe" on the field, but the examples of trash talk he gave the media were pretty tame and inoffensive. Saying, "Come on back next play, I'll be here all night" really isn't terribly offensive and I can't imagine how it could be construed as taunting.
