Time for SEC to get rid of Verne as play by play

I know there both analysts but would love to see a Kirk Herbstreit/Gary Danielson booth for SEC prime time games. At one point, Verne made the comment - looks like we will get a block in the back call against UGA like he was a Bama play by play guy.

Have you ever listened to the CBS B crew announce a game? Those clowns are so bad, they make Verne Lundquist seem like Keith Jackson in his prime. There really aren't a lot of great college football play by play announcers out there. There's a pretty good chance that CBS will make a downgrade if they got rid of Verne.

I'm in the minority, but I don't care for Danielson either. Yeah, he's knowledgeable, but he's annoying and he plays favorites.

i must have heard "Oh Wow" 50 times. Then i just muted the sound. The only thing i heard after that was the ice in my drink hitting the sides of the glass. It was much better.
